Matrescence follows through every stage of motherhood… from the beginning to the end of life. Each stage has its moments of joy and those moments. Before we know it those first years are over and the next begins. We too have to change and mould ourselves into the next phase of motherhood. If only we could have the presence of mind to be able to value, hold grace and build stronger connections every single day, no matter what stage we are in.

Are you this mum, have you been told you are too much?
You just want to best for your children.
You see them through the lens of what you, yourself have been through in the past.
You know them so well, you want them to have every opportunity to thrive.
Your heart is so big, yet others say you’re interfering.
Maybe it’s the lack in their own lives that they don’t have the same feelings of love and care?
Just know you know your children best, whether adopted, biological, fostered or otherwise. You keep loving them with your whole heart. ♥️

This is huge and I lived by this by so long whether it was by those around me, books, soical media, the voices of government telling me how to parent, none of them allowed my own voice to be heard. How could I trust in my own heart and instincts when so many other voices were telling me how I should be, and what was best for me & my children.
Thanks to Matresence I found myself and more importantly I was allowed to trust and value my myself and the inner wisdom that we are born with. So much has changed and I’m grateful for the journey because it’s brought happiness and love, self trust, values and kindness and grace.

The greatest blessings we can receive are our children, whether birthed, adopted, fostered or by kinship. Such precious gifts given by God, He will always be there for us as we navigate through life with our children.
