Here's my take as a health practitioner...

with the rise of GLP-1 we've seen this massive revert back to the 90s he**in chic.
And increase in thinness becoming trendy.

And people confusing skinny or thin with health.
Or masking it under wellness.

But I was that thin.
I lost weight so suddenly because of my gut health and not being able to absorb any food that my entire body shut down.
Liver failure.
Acne
Severely underweight.
and I was the OPPOSITE of healthy.

It's the same in body builder competitions.
Extreme restriction, fasting to get down to an extremely lean weight is not healthy.

So is skinny the goal.
No.

And also i'm not saying that overweight is healthy.
And you can want to care about what you look like
and your aesthetics.

But I will always advocate for women being STRONG, and healthy NOT SKINNY.

This is just one of the brutally honest health truths I talk about in today's episode on In Her Era. Comment '36' for the remaining 7 brutal truths.

This is where a lot of people go wrong...

They think they have a hormone issue, so they go to a hormone expert.
Or they have bloating so they go to see a gut specialist.

But they're only looking at one piece of the puzzle

For a woman to feel INCREDIBLE in her body...

You have to consider the body as a whole.
An inter connected system.

Where each system impacts another.
Your gut impacts your hormones, which influences your liver, impacting your cells etc.

In order to effectively make a woman feel the best she's ever felt ...
We need to look at the body holistically.

Getting to the root cause of why your symptoms are occuring or your energy is off or you're not sleeping well.

And that comes through looking at labwork.
Doing an in depth health and lifestyle history (not a 15min consult)
And creating an ultra-personalised health strategy that actually fits into your life.

Because no one has time for a generic pdf or hormone health course that only scratches the surface of your health.

The conversation I wish I had access to years ago with - a pelvic health physiotherapist.

This is for all my girls who experience pain in any kind down there. Endometriosis. Period cramps. Pain with s*x. Random pain.

I loveddd this episode.
I share my own story with vaginismus
And you'll leave with such tangiable strategies but also feel like you've been given a hug in real life.

And Emily has the most calming voice you could listen to on repeat.

How to become the woman everyone wants to hire...

We can debate this conversation whether we should or shouldn't have to do this.

But a woman who is put together
Who takes care of herself IS more confident naturally. And that's a woman who commands attention.

Except a lot of the time you're investing in bandaids.
In the accessories

Lip fillers
Botox
Serums
Sephora makeup
Clothes... More clothes

But what about investing in the thing that literally determines your attractiveness:

That's gives you a glow (literally from your cells) no serum can replicate.

Hair that is so healthy people ask if it's a fresh cut.

You are so confident when you walk into a room because of how you feel in your body - people can't help but turn heads.

When you optimise your health you not only have a level of glow and energy that everyone wants.

But your brain is operating at such a high level, that you become the highest value woman in the room.

Health first.
Then we add on our extras.

Women were taught to 'be good…'
but never taught about our own bodies

I felt ashamed that I had pain with s*x.
Or that I lost my period for 2 years.
Or that I didn't really understand that there was more to a menstural cycle than a Period (let alone how to leverage it)

And women for years have been left out of research.
Been given advice that was designed for men.
Been told you have endometriosis and PCOS and no information other than a diagnosis.
Been told that menopause is something you just go through so you just have to deal with it.

We were never brought up to have these conversations.
So I am so glad to bring them to the forefront.

Because a woman empowered about her health, her understands her body, who has optimised her unique health. She will do big things.

Comment: "SEROTONIN" and I'll send you the latest episode on In Her Era™ on how to create your seratonin luxury list.

Especially in a high dopamine world.
Where it's constant achievement. Constant doing.
Constantly getting quick wins.

Serotonin is our happiness.
Our contentment.
Its our satisfaction.

If dopamine drives us for more
Serotonin is what allows us to enjoy the moments in the pursuit of more.

There’s something powerful about using your voice for something that actually matters.

I’ve always loved public speaking.

I was school captain in grade 6.
Then again in grade 9.
Valedictorian in grade 12.

Which meant a lot of speeches… in front of a lot of people.

And I loved it.

I loved telling stories.
Sharing experiences.
Making a room feel something.

But speaking about random topics (or school agendas)…
is very different to speaking about something that truly matters.

2 weeks ago I stood in front of a room of women and spoke about women’s health.

And moments like that mean more to me than any speech I’ve ever given.

Because the truth is, so many women are still leaving appointments with a prescription…

without ever feeling properly heard.

Without anyone asking the deeper questions about their body.
Their hormones.
Their energy.
Their health as a whole.

And that’s the conversation I care about having.

Not just about symptoms.

But about supporting a woman’s entire body so she can feel incredible, focus more, and actually sustain the life she’s building.

Because when women truly understand their health, everything about how they live, lead, and show up in the world changes.

And a woman optimised is a powerful women

We’re often told that if something isn’t working, we just need to try harder.

But what if the problem isn’t your work ethic…
what if you’re simply trying to succeed using someone else’s blueprint?

In this week’s episode of In Her Era, I’m joined by integrative career practitioner and leadership strategist .

➡️ Comment "DESIGN" and I'll send you the episode on your favourite platform

Lily blends psychology, neuroscience, human design and astrology to help leaders understand how they’re actually wired to work, make decisions and lead - in their careers and life.

Because not everyone is designed to operate the same way.

In this conversation we explore what happens when you stop forcing yourself into someone else’s model of success, and learn how to work with your own natural design.

We also turn the microscope on me 😬, looking at my own human design and astrology chart to show how this can play out in real life.

If you’ve ever wondered whether the way you’re working is actually aligned with how you’re wired, this episode will change how you think about success.

I hope you love it as well 🤎

Because this is my 30 LESSONS IN 30 YEARS.

It was hard to distill all the lessons ive learnt.
All the meanings.
All the mistakes.

So hopefully there something in there for you that you can take into 2026. (Or just learn from my sh*t)

My hardest episode to date.

I asked you to send in questions for my 30th birthday month

And omg you delivered! And I answered without holding anything back.

I expected to be talking basic things but instead the questions opened up to: my journey with self worth, body image, past relationships, friendships, my health journey, lessons, mistakes.

I brought my sister on to interview me and keep me accountable.

This episode IS the truest version of me. Parts of me that maybe don't get shared and only people BTS know.

So I am so honoured to share this with you so you get to be apart of this with me

🤎

introducing my VIP interviewer for my 30th birthday Q&A episode (insert drumroll)

my younger sister, Emily.

She asked the questions you all sent through (honestly so many she had to pick her faves but IT WAS SOOO HARD!)

you all really brought the hard questions.

one of the most difficult, most vulnerable episodes to date and you'll why see tomorrow.

set your calendars and tune into In Her Era™ tomorrow. Sh*t gets real!
