The Vasectomist Dr Dick Beatty provides expert no scalpel vasectomy services across Brisbane and The Gold Coast. He started Brisbane Bayside’s only dedicated vasectomy clinic and has since opened clinics in South Brisbane and The North Gold Coast. He is based most of the week in Cleveland. Dr Beatty’s sole focus is for a pain-free vasectomy and optimal recovery. There is absolutely no need for sedation in the great majority of men who need a vasectomy. However, we do offer a sedative for the minority who request this. Less than 5% of guys need a sedative tablet.

No Scalpel Vasectomy involves a specialised instrument that is used to access the 'tubes'. Electrocautery is then used to access the tubes and seal them. The final stage is the additional step of fascial interposition which reduces failure rate. The end results is one small hole in the middle with no sutures inside or out. The consultation is done on the same day as the procedure, and you can drive home. You may book fully online with no need for callbacks.
