✨ FLEXIBILITY – Waitlist Now Open

There’s something powerful about feeling your body move freely.

Not forcing it.
Not rushing it.
Just creating space — slowly, consistently, intentionally.

My weekly Flexibility Class has been building beautifully, and our next available start date is March 9th.

If you’ve been saying:
• “I need to stretch more.”
• “I feel tight all the time.”
• “I want to move better, not just train harder.”

This is your sign.

Each week we focus on:
🌿 Improving range safely
🌿 Connecting breath to movement
🌿 Building strength within flexibility
🌿 Leaving feeling longer, lighter and more aware of your body.

This isn’t about being naturally flexible. It’s about creating it.

Waitlist is now open for our March 9 intake. Spots are limited.

If you want in, message me “FLEX” and I’ll send you the details.

Your future hips, hamstrings and back will thank you.

Where the Week Slows Down

Last week in Bulimba, we walked into stretch carrying a full week with us.

Tight hips from desk hours.
Upper backs holding onto strength sessions.
Minds still ticking through to-do lists.

But we didn’t start by stretching.

We started by noticing.

Noticing the breath.
Not to “relax.”
Not to switch off.
But to connect.

When you bring awareness to your breath, your stretch changes. You’re not just pulling on a muscle — you’re actually feeling where your body is at. You move with it, not against it.

Then we lengthened.

And if stretching isn’t something you do often, it can surprise you. You might feel it the next day — similar to how your body responds after strength training. Different stimulus, same reminder that your body adapts to what you consistently give it.

There’s something powerful about creating space in the body before the week begins again.

Stretch is on tomorrow night, and I’m looking forward to that shared moment in the room — where everyone moves with intention, not urgency.

If you’re at a desk most of the day, try this:
👉 Find somewhere quiet, with no distractions.
👉Step into a hip flexor + quad stretch
👉 Let your breath guide the depth

Notice the difference when you connect to it.

Sometimes the reset isn’t about doing more.
It’s about moving with awareness.

💛 Monday Nights in Bulimba 💛

My Monday 6:10pm class in Bulimba is now waitlisted for February (thank you — that still blows me away ) so I wanted to check in with the community…

👉 Would anyone be interested in a second Monday class at 7:15pm?

Same vibe. Same supportive space. Just a little later in the evening.

A little story I hear all the time 👇

I regularly meet first-time clients aged 35–70 who say:

“I’ve never stretched in my life.”

And here’s what doesn’t happen:
❌ No fast paced stretches
❌ No “you should’ve started years ago”

What does happen is this:
✔️ Gentle mind-to-body stretches
✔️ Slowing everything right down
✔️ Releasing tension that’s been quietly collecting rent for decades

Years of sitting:
Years of stress.
Years of “I’ll deal with it later.”

The good news?

✨ Your body doesn’t care when you start — it just cares that you do.

If you’ve been curious but hesitant, or you’ve missed out on the 6:10pm spot, a 7:15pm Monday class might be your sign.

To put your name down for the waitlist for March ( bookings open in 2 weeks) DM me or email contact@kellybatt.com

And let me know in the comments if the 7:15pm Monday time would work for you.

Thank you,

Coach Kelly

“You’re an athlete… you just wear a suit.”

You train for meetings.

You train for deadlines.

You train for long days and short nights.

You’re not just training for aesthetics —
You’re training for performance.

Energy at 3pm.

Focus under pressure.

A body that doesn’t fall apart after sitting all day.

That’s the corporate athlete mindset.

Train smart. Recover well. Repeat.

“Does your training support your workday?”

“Kids don’t do what you say… they copy what you do 👀”

Gymnastics class this morning 🤸‍♀️

My daughter runs around the circuit and a coach says:

“Wow… her running technique is A-grade.”

My response?

“She just copies what she sees.”
She’s watched me coach.
She’s watched me learn.
She’s been learning since she learned to walk.

Then the coach shares her daughter plays AFL

“But her arm drive is different right vs left.”

So I asked a few questions. 😄
Shared a few cues.
A few small tweaks. 💡

That’s the stuff I love.

Helping people move better doesn’t need to be complicated.

Simple. Effective. Transferable to real life.

Small steps.

People don’t wake up thinking,
“I need more flexibility.”

They wake up thinking:
“My back hurts.”
“My neck feels stiff.”

That’s not a motivation problem —
it’s a flexibility problem.

Most aches come from:
• sitting too long
• muscles that forgot how to relax
• length and tension imbalance
Stretching isn’t just about touching your toes or doing the splits.

It’s about moving without pain.
If your body feels tight, heavy, or uncomfortable…
that’s your sign.

Not to work harder —
but to move smarter.

💾 Save this if your body has been talking to you
💬 Comment “STRETCH” if you want simple routines that help.

A lady came back to my flexibility class the following week, smiled, and said:

“The next morning I felt like someone had put oil in my joints.”

No stiffness.
No heaviness.
Just smooth, easy movement.

It reminded me of something important:
In strength training, less is often more.
But with flexibility, it’s the opposite.

Flexibility improves with time, patience, and repetition —
not forcing, not pain, not pushing harder.

In my classes we focus on:
✨ Gentle stretches with no pain
✨ Letting the body relax
✨ Optimal technique
✨ Creating space in the joints so movement feels more manageable

This is why flexibility work feels so different the next day.
You don’t feel worked — you feel well-oiled.

Flexibility classes are back in Bulimba

STRETCHING IS A SUPERPOWER!

Did you know that the right stretching at the right time can improve movement quality and help reduce injury risk?

💡 Tip of the Day:
A dedicated static stretch session is best completed before your training session. It helps increase blood flow, increase range of movement , and prepare your joints for the demands of your workout.

🔑 Pro Tip:
Connect your breath to your stretch and relax - not just going through the motions.

💪 Prepare your body, move better, and train with confidence!
