There have been lots of reports from my colleagues in emergency regarding these little things. Used as a promo item in supermarkets, these toys are being consumed by pets. Consumption of these toys can result in choking hazards & obstructions requiring emergency surgery. Please if you have these, keep them away from your pets.

Do you know what to do in an emergency?

Every pet owners’ worst nightmare, an accident. We never want to imagine that it would happen to any of us. Unfortunately, the chances are at some stage your pet will need emergency care. In Australia, we are very lucky and usually have close-by veterinary care available and lots of after-hours help when needed. But what if you’re in a location where vet treatment is not close by? What about injuries so serious that immediate intervention is needed. Do you know what to do? Could you save your loved pet?

Take away that uncertainty and learn how to provide your pet life-saving first aid. It could save him or her.
