Join electrophysiologist Dr Daniel Lancini for a high-yield, case-based session on ECG interpretation, built for medical students across all years and junior clinicians. Dr Lancini is a Brisbane-trained cardiologist and University of Queensland alumnus (First Class Honours, 2014) who completed subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology at QEII Health Sciences Centre in Canada. He holds a PhD from UQ (2024) on the drivers and clinical impact of atrial fibrillation, consults with Queensland Cardiology at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside and North Lakes, operates at St Vincent’s and The Wesley, serves as a senior medical officer in electrophysiology at RBWH, and contributes to rural outreach through Heart of Australia.
Across real-world examples and rapid clinical vignettes, Dr Lancini will demonstrate a reliable, stepwise approach you can apply on the wards and in exams. He will move from rate and rhythm to intervals, axis, hypertrophy, ischaemia patterns, electrolyte and drug effects, and device clues. Expect practical pearls on when to worry, when to escalate, and how to avoid common pitfalls.
Join us for an evening you wont forget!
