How has precision eating changed your perspective on food?
Even coming from a super healthy food background, once you start to eat precisely what’s nutrient dense for you, you understand there is more nuance. General health applied to specific bodies doesn't work as well. It also gives you more control. If you want to improve your immune system, put on muscle, improve digestion, there’s no guesswork. Go get the foods, prep them in the way you know is best for you, eat it. Done. Health happens.

How about digestion?
Really avoid the things that are on your “avoid” list in Shae ™ . It will be a game changer for your digestion.

And your top hack to re-engage with precision nutrition if you’ve gotten off track?
Make it easy. Decide on 2 slow cooker meals for the week. Put your top 10 veggies in each. Buy bagged salad like Kale slaw. Get all the foods you need in about 3 minutes of prep.

How has precision eating changed your perspective on food?
I was lost when it came to the world of food. Then I found Ph360 and Shae ™ and everything is so simple. There is no confusion! Look at your app and it says: this is what you should eat, how you should prepare it, and when you should eat it. Done. For me with massive food issues, food became no problem.

How about digestion?
Frequency is key to good digestion. I now eat all the time. I always wondered why I got hungry every few hours. Now I know it’s normal for a Sensor. We have quick digestive processing.

And your top hack to re-engage with precision nutrition if you’ve gotten off track?
Relax. Let go of perfection. Be okay with recipe substitutions. Or just searching the foods you have and throwing it together. Know that if it’s terrible and you don’t like it, you don’t have to eat it. Call out for pizza. If there are preparation steps that you don’t like…take slicing onions- try dried onions or onion powder.

How has precision eating changed your perspective on food?
I love the science that it brings. I really understand what it means to have an energy-conserving body. I live in a food environment that doesn’t fit for an energy conserving body and it’s hard to understand until you know who you are and that it doesn’t work for you how other people do it.

How about digestion?
The size of the meal and the timing are so important. Eat a small dinner - it takes away the reflux and other digestive issues. Eat a big lunch, so you feel satisfied and a small dinner so you are not digesting overnight.

And your top hack to re-engage with precision nutrition if you’ve gotten off track?
Answer the question: What is pleasure to you? You want as much pleasure as possible. Find things that you love from your list and explore what you can create from that. Don't focus on the things that you think bring you pleasure but really make you feel physically bad.

How has precision eating changed your perspective on food?
Precision health changed everything about food for me. Understanding my biology and digestive system and realising I actually have control over digestive issues (even the embarrassing tummy gurgle and such) was a game changer for socialising.

How about digestion?
Now I know what supports my body’s digestion, everything from food to cooking to timing. What is the most nutrient dense food for me. What time of day is best for me to eat so I don’t digest late into the night. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but when you take it step by step and break it down, everything changes.

And your top hack to re-engage with precision nutrition if you’ve gotten off track?
Become friends with vegetable soup! The warmth, the veggies, the ease of digestion and the healthy liquids makes the engine hum beautifully. You’ll fall in love with how you feel.

How has precision eating changed your perspective on food?
As a dietician, I first asked how is it different? My clients were basically healthy, but they had minor issues. They might be tired, have tummy upset and other quality of life kinds of things. But when they ate in alignment with their profile, they suddenly felt great! Small changes equalled major benefits.

How about digestion?
Generally, Connectors can eat lots. But if you’re a bit larger, society tells you to not eat a snack in the afternoon. It will make you put on pounds. But actually the Connector body needs that afternoon snack rather than over-restricting. The flow-on effects are life-changing! Better sleep quality, better digestion, focus, energy.
