Available sessions have been snapped up - as in booking fee paid.

I will be chatting with my clients about their holiday plans. Working out if they will be home or away.
It's always good if my clients are home over the holidays, that way I can get them to help me in decluttering/organising their homes. Plus...I do love a good chat with them, while I am working.

I will be spending some time - well, the small amount of free time that I have left - sorting out my clients schedule for 2026. I'll send out an email to my Regular Clients, giving them a list of their session dates.

Well...I had a first with my business and actually a first in my entire life.
Yesterday, I closed myself in a cupboard with no way to get out! 😩
Yep..you read that right.
This cupboard was a small storage room with shelving. The door opens into the storage room..not into the hallway.
I had emptied it, I cleaned it, I was putting boxes back in, I climbed down the step ladder and backed into the door, which closed it.
The door did not have a latch, a k**b, a hook, nothing, on the inside to open it..I couldn't slip my fingers under the door or above the door, the room was almost air tight. I had emptied the room of everything so I had nothing to use to get the door open.
My clients were away, but their family were staying.
For 2 mins I knocked, banged and bashed on the door and wall. I called out and yelled as loud as I could. NOTHING. I could hear them, but they couldn't hear me because this is a large house and the gardeners were making lots of noise outside.
I was starting to sweat and was having a slight panic attack.
I then sent a text to my client asking that she contact their family to come get me out. I could hear their phone ringing and the conversation. When I heard "Where is she?" I started bashing on the door again and yelled "I'm in here!"
When the door was opened, I noticed it was held closed by magnets, so it would have been impossible for me to pull it open.
It was incredibly lucky my clients family were in the house, otherwise I would have had to call 000.

This weekend I will be working on my schedule for 2026.

I’m fully booked up again!

I am looking forward to Monday.
I am meeting the movers I used..at my storage unit, so they can re-arrange everything, so I can have access to my boxes/bags. I have a lot of things I have needed, but I have not been able to get access to it.
I have stopped going there as it's really stressful.

A lot of my client's hold a special place in my heart.
Thank you so much for treating me like a friend or part of the family. I really appreciate you. 💙

MY WEEK THAT WAS:
My wonderful client was away, so I was asked to re-set the kitchen and fold some washing that had been put on the spare bed. One of my client's cats kept walking around me, wanting a bit of attention, so when I sat on the floor to tidy the kitchen pantry, she was all over me.
When I got to my client's home, the kitchen floor was wet, so I stayed outside and tidied the undercover area, playing with the dogs. When we got inside, I tidied all of the usual area's and set to folding all of the washing. When my client came home, she asked me if I had seen she had tidied up the kitchen bench..I told her it was fantastic. I was so proud of her!
This session, I walked into the laundry and noticed the shelving that holds all of the bags, the coat hangers and then ironing was hanging down a lot more than it usually does. I spent some time thinking about what needed to be done. I saw that the bracing was digging into the wall and that was happening due to the weight it was holding, so that needed to be sorted. Due to me doing that, I left the tidying of the 2 younger kids rooms to their nanny, but I did make the beds and tidied the clothes. I had also sorted and put away a few things left around the house, because the Nanny has now told me she is not putting things away due to my clients messaging her in the evenings or on the weekends asking where she put things.
My client shifted her clothes airer back to where she has always used it, after her parents left and it fell apart again. So I spent some time putting it back together. Now that I am going to this clients home in the afternoon, I am able to get some of the washing off the line.
I tidied up my clients washing and found all the linen they used while they were on holidays, which will need to be sorted away till their next holiday. I refolded all of the towels and sheets in the closet again.
My client called me on Tuesday night and asked that I visit a family member and check in with them. I knew my clients family member wasn't happy with me showing up, so this was to get a foot in the door for when they needed help in their home. We sat, we had a cup of tea and talked. We even talked about their home and what they are struggling with.
ARGH...the last session I had with my client, I had enough bedding in the cupboard to remake the kids beds. But..when I got there, some of it was missing. I thought they would have to wait till the sheets I was washing was dried to use on the beds, but my client asked me to empty some large bags and put the linen away. I ended up finding more bedding. YAY! Now there is enough summer bedding for all of the beds. And I was able to get all of the linen put away into the cupboards. Only thing is..my client needs to declutter all of the linen..the cupboards are over flowing.
Over the weekend I discussed with my client that I had Organised the cold room and advised the shelving needed a mat placed down. I was given the go-ahead to purchase that. So..I spent some time cutting and placing it down. I am able to go through all of the area's that I had organised to keep on top of it.
I spent a lot of time tidying and organising my clients clothes. They have created a lovely laundry room and it's easy to keep on top of it. I had noticed that it was talking long time for the dryer to get through a load, a load was taking close to 6 hours, so I spent some time cleaning out the filters. I ended up having to wash them..because they were filled with sand. ARGH..my clients youngest loves playing in the sand pit at kindy.

What’s on offer..

Back Story first...I’ve been a Nanny since ‘94..working for many families..over time I have been paying attention to tidying up. I have always been a tidy person..making sure everything had a place. In my own home I have become a tad Obsessive Compulsive about everything being tidy. With this Obsessive Compulsiveness..I had started to help my families..by organising their homes. It started small..a linen closet here..a drawer there..a bathroom cabinet or two. My families loved this..so I stepped up my game..which brings us to now..

TIDYING - “GET UP AND GO” $135/3HRS - $45/HR This includes: all beds made all rooms of the house tidied washing folded dishwasher loaded/emptied garbage bin emptied Upon request - change bed linen/towels and any other task. ANYTHING NOT CLEANING BASED.

ORGANISING - Home $135/3HRS - $45/HR Pretty much anything that needs organising.. Kitchen and Fridge Laundry Linen Bathrooms Wardrobes/Drawers Garage Decluttering (this can be done with your help..or by myself..)
