Welcome to our Yoga Unity community! We are excited to introduce ourselves as a well respected provider of yoga & mindfulness for NDIS participants. Our mission is to offer an inclusive space where people of all abilities can come together to move, breathe and practice mindfulness in a safe and supportive environment.
As you may know, yoga and mindfulness practices have been proven to be highly effective in improving physical, mental, and emotional health for individuals with a range of disabilities. For example, studies have shown that yoga can help individuals with autism to improve their social and communication skills, while also reducing anxiety and promoting relaxation. Similarly, yoga and mindfulness practices have been shown to be effective in managing symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, depression, and arthritis.
The benefits of these practices extend beyond the physical body, impacting the mind and spirit as well. Mindfulness exercises can help to reduce stress, increase resilience, and promote a sense of calm and inner peace. Additionally, these practices can also be beneficial for individuals who are experiencing illness, as they can help to support the energy body and promote healing.
