Over 30 years ago, the Rechenberg Group expanded into supplying and professionally monitoring Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) to meet the growing need for fast, reliable support for vulnerable people. What began as a natural evolution of our services has grown into a dedicated national 24/7 monitoring division. Today, APERS is trusted by individuals, families, retirement villages, carers and aged care providers across Australia to deliver peace of mind through professional, round-the-clock personal alarm monitoring.

World Braille Day celebrates a brilliant form of communication: reading and writing through touch.

Louis Braille began developing Braille as a student, inspired by an earlier tactile idea, and after years of work it became the foundation of the Braille used around the world today.

Braille continues to evolve, from languages across the globe to maths, science and even music, with modern tools like refreshable Braille displays helping people access information in real time.

Braille is a beautiful reminder that accessibility is inclusion in action, making everyday information something everyone can read, in their own way.
