📢 ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CITY FIT 🏢

Hi everyone, it's Johnny here.

Many patients including gym member clients have reached out to me regarding on when sessions can resume at City Fit - and as I work closely with City Fit on a set date, at this stage, we look to resume next week.

There has been some water inundation, meaning there is a bit of work to be done before the gym is safe.

I appreciate everyone's patience with this, especially those of fellow local allied health professionals that has reached out to me in support. As you know, we are a small business - these events, are not easy.

Please go out there and support the many amazing local fellow family businesses as they recover from

⚠️ **Important Announcement – Clinic Closed at City Fit** ⚠️

Hi everyone, it's Johnny here. Due to the major flood levels, I have ultimately made the difficult decision to temporarily close our clinic location at City Fit Gym. Unfortunately, the area is at risk of possible inundation, and for safety reasons we are evacuating the space alongside the gym. 🌧️😔

For our current patients, please don’t worry — most have been contacted and offered rescheduling options for the rest of the week at our second clinic location:

I personally want to take a moment to say a big thank you to City Fit Bundaberg for welcoming us into their facility and supporting Us. They have been incredibly helpful and supportive — and we both hope to get back on the ground running - pending the river situation overnight. They’ve been nothing but great to work alongside and we truly appreciate them and their members. 🙏

We also want to say a big thanks to Bundaberg Physiotherapy Centre & Sports Injury Clinic for accommodating us on such notice, we highly support them as our preferred go-to Physiotherapy clinic.

Situations like this are unfortunately out of everyone’s control, but we are grateful for the support from both our patients and the City Fit & Bundy Physio community during this time.

(Our other locations & home visits are unaffected at this stage)

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to continuing to help you move and stay healthy from our Crofton Street location. 💙

Shout out to Aaron Health Chiropractic for supplying us with a thoughtful sun shade for our home visit vehicle!

Their experienced team spans from clinics from way down from Brisbane, up to Bundaberg. We've had great opportunity attending medical seminars together and working in multidisciplinary care to get people out of pain 🤕 & into movement! 🏃‍♂️

A small gesture that makes a big difference to our team who travel daily in and out of home visits around the Wide Bay region.

Not long to go!

Tomorrow morning at 9AM, our fundraiser wraps up — and that’s when the big moment begins: the shave and the 72-cone unicycle challenge!

So far, we’ve raised $1,277 for Prostate Cancer — and remember, I’m personally matching every dollar donated above $800 until 9AM tomorrow!

Can’t believe my two biggest fears are actually happening: performing on a unicycle in front of a crowd… and losing all the hair I’ve been growing my whole life! 😨

The Unicycle Challenge looks set for Friday!
Yesterday ✅ achieved the distance.
However 🤔 weaving through 72 cones is the hard part...😟
⏲️ Less than THREE DAYS TO GO! 😮

Keep posted here, as over the next few days - I'll be sharing fails ❌ over the past 60 days of my rise to unicycling.

My coach, Mr. Marc - had some great tips!

"Just get on and make sure you don't fall"
I later asked, "how do I weave around the cones?"
He replied: "Just don't hit them".

Glad to get some old school coaching from an expert whilst at the Bargara Skate Rink.
