Healthy Nut Bars π«π°
Ingredients:
- 1 cup mixed nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, and cashews) π₯
- 1 cup rolled oats πΎ
- Β½ cup dried cranberries or raisins π
- ΒΌ cup honey π―
- ΒΌ cup almond butter π₯
- 1 tsp vanilla extract πΏ
- Β½ tsp cinnamon powder π°
- A pinch of salt π§
- Optional: ΒΌ cup dark chocolate chips π«
Directions:
Start by preheating your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal later. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed nuts, rolled oats, and dried cranberries. In a small saucepan over low heat, gently warm the honey and almond butter until they are smooth and well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract, cinnamon powder, and a pinch of salt. Pour the warm mixture over the dry ingredients and mix everything together until the nuts and oats are well coated. If you're adding chocolate chips, fold them in last. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, pressing it down evenly with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Once baked, let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares or rectangles.
