? This is a great time to get healthy

🌿Today I have made breakfast and although it seems simple it’s actually full of beneficial nutrients that are very needed at this time. I also have a high polyphenol tea (see previous post for recipe)

🍳EGGS!! These guys are powerhouses of nutrition and each one contains high proteins, an array of B vitamins necessary for methylation, energy and stress reduction but they also contain Vitamin D which is highly researched to support the immune system and Vitamin A, a key micronutrient in skin, vision, mucous and also the immune system. They also contain many microminerals including iodine and selenium which help scavenge free radicals that cause oxidation and inflammation in the body but are crucial in thyroid health. These little packages are bangers. Get some in your diet.

🥬SPINACH!! Contains Vitamin A, C, K, folate, iron and calcium. They also contain insoluble fiber which aids in constipation.

🥑AVOCADO!! Now these guys are another powerhouse like eggs. Surprisingly high in fiber but where they shine is in the fats. They contain monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and unsaturated fats in a ratio that promotes healthy blood lipid (fats) profile and enhances the absorption of our fat-soluble vitamins, remember our A, and D? bingo. They also contain a full array of other vitamins and minerals.
