Tuesdays classes this week land on the New Moon; Lunar New Year and the start of the year of the Fire Horse 🔥the snake skin has been shed & we are moving forward with renewed energy 🐎

After a few days of rain the earth feels softer & refreshed…and I’ve used the excuse to snuggle up safe & warm inside! Our practice is an opportunityto move slowly, breathe deeply, and reset 🫶🏼

We were gifted a gorgeous set of horse teacups to celebrate the New Year ⬇️ ❤️

Hello February 😳🤯 2026 is zooming already!!

A full moon lights up the week ahead & with steamy temperatures it feels like the perfect time to slow things down - move gently & breathe deeply.

I spent the end of 2025 in New Zealand, slowing down, reflecting and grounding myself before stepping into a new year. It was a time to pause, reconnect, and gather energy for the year ahead.

Now I'm back - the studio is waking up again! Everything is being cleaned and reset, ready to welcome 2026 yogi's.

Classes resume Tuesday 13th January:
Tuesdays & Thursdays • 9am & 6pm
(6am classes will be paused for now)

Moreton Bay Healthy & Active Yoga with subsidised classes are back from 27th of January.

We had some heavy rain yesterday afternoon & I commented that I love teaching yoga in my studio when the rain pounds on the roof…alas today is glorious & there’s no rain to be heard!

Happy Sunday - such a beautiful start to the school holidays🌷I feel like I’m bouncing back from the bug that hit last week - ready to guide some gentle yoga this week.

We had a private group in the studio this morning indulging in a restful mix of Hatha, Yin, Nidra & sound bowls - leaving very zen! I’ve run a few of these events as workplace gatherings - a nice alternative to a Christmas party.

I’ve had a couple of clivia burst into flower this week (pics below) & the first jacaranda flowers have appeared, it’s warm but not humid yet - I love this time of year here 🫶🏼

Any teacher friends on holiday or parents that need time to take a breath come join us for a yoga class Tuesday or Thursday 🧘‍♀️

It is the last week of term 3 & sadly I’ve managed to catch a bug…not surprising when you work in a school but very annoying!! I’m cancelling tomorrow’s classes in the hope that I will bounce back quicker with rest & of course I don’t want to share this with anyone 🤧 those that have booked in I will move your bookings to next week - please reach out if you’d rather a different option 😊

Many of you have met my “little boy” Declan in the studio - we celebrated his 20th birthday on Saturday & while he might tower above me now birthdays offer the perfect opportunity to reflect on when he truly was a little boy 🥰 ⬇️

Celebrating spring today - saying goodbye at the end of 6am class and a duck family wandered past the studio - mum, dad & a trail of ducklings…then 9am class and two students arrived with flowers 💐 🙏🏽

Beautiful blue sky day 🫶🏼 love this time of year 🌱☀️

Hi 9am yogi’s…I’m back!!! My prac has finished with the last day today & tomorrow at 9am I’m back in the studio - I look forward to seeing those that can make it 🧘‍♀️

We had a sad incident here in the early hours of Friday - our two alpacas were attacked by dogs. They have some deep wounds & have been attended by a vet. I’ve got them locked in a paddock close to the house until they heal…we caught one dog, but our neighbour that woke to the noise of pur Alpacas screaming saw another, believed to be a large black dog. Local friends if you see wandering dogs please report them 🙏🏽
