Our residents made the most of the beautiful spring weather today with a bus outing to La Balsa park, Kawana. Everyone enjoyed a relaxed Bbq lunch by the water, followed by the chance to throw in a fishing line and soak up the fresh air. It was a wonderful day of sunshine, good food and plenty of smiles. 🛥️🌼

Residents have been enjoying the soothing sights and sounds of our new water feature added to our duck pond. It’s not only enhanced the atmosphere but also attracted a array of local wildlife, creating a peaceful and engaging spot for everyone to enjoy.

Our residents have been enjoying watching the new baby plovers around the grounds. Many have taken great interest in looking out for them during walks and sitting outside 😊

What a busy and joyful day for our residents! It started off with a visit from Coastal Caring Clowns bringing smiles and laughter all round. Our residents got right into the spirit showing off their singing skills and dance moves.

The day continued as we celebrated Xmas in July. Tim our chef prepared a beautiful meal, followed by Christmas pudding and custard. Today was filled with happiness, laughter and good food a day to remember for our facility.

Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful Mothers out there! Our residents had a fantastic time celebrating with a Mother’s Day high tea on Friday Morning. The morning was filled with joy and laughter as everyone enjoyed participating in trivia,reminiscing and tackling word searches. Tim our chef prepared an assortment of treats which made the morning more special. It was a beautiful way to honour and appreciate all the amazing mothers in our home.

Happy Easter from Adventist Retirement Plus Caloundra!

The Easter Bunny visited us this morning, spreading cheer with a delightful delivery of Easter eggs that brought smiles to everyones faces. Thoughout the week, residents enjoyed getting creative, making beautiful Easter bonnets to showcase during morning tea. While we indulge in the fun and festivities, we also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Easter the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus christ, a symbol of hope and renewal.

This lovely wet weather has brought out our resident ducklings! Our family of ducklings has become a popular topic of conversation among the residents. Like their morning appearance during exercise class prompting everyone to momentarily pause their stretching to enjoy the adorable parade passing by our activity lounge 🦆🌧️❤️
