This New Year, let’s make resolutions that nourish your mind, body, and confidence, not your to-do list.

Mums give so much and you deserve support that gives back.

Choose resolutions that focus on presence, rest, nourishment, support, and learning. These are the intentions that help you feel calm, confident, and connected to yourself, your baby, and your family.

If you’re pregnant or entering your first year as a mum, my 2026 breastfeeding, and parenting classes are designed to help you feel informed and supported at every step.

📩 Send me a message to book your class or to learn more 🤍

Support in the first trimester is not about doing more. It is about being held, informed, and reassured 🤍

It looks like someone answering your questions without judgement. It looks like knowing what is normal, what deserves attention, and when to slow down. It looks like education that eases fear and builds confidence early.

This is why learning and support matter from the very beginning. My new parent classes and breastfeeding classes for 2026 are now open and designed to guide you gently through each stage of pregnancy and beyond.

If you are newly pregnant or planning ahead, send me a message to book your place đź’›

Pregnancy is both a physical journey and a journey of the heart. Setting intentions helps you choose how you want to move through these months with calm, confidence, and awareness.

Rather than worrying about every outcome, intentions help you focus on what grounds you, nourishment, rest, connection, support, and meeting your baby with confidence when the time comes.

Your body and your spirit deserve care that honors both. If you’d like personalised antenatal guidance from building your birth intentions to practical education and support. I’m here for you.

Booking your breastfeeding class early is one of the kindest things you can do for yourself as you head into 2026 🤍

When you learn before your baby arrives, you give yourself time to understand how feeding works, what is normal, and when to ask for help. You feel calmer. You feel more prepared. You feel supported before the first feed even begins.

Early preparation means fewer late-night worries and more confidence in those early days. You do not need to wait until you are struggling to learn. Support works best when it starts early.

If you are expecting in 2026, now is a beautiful time to book your breastfeeding class. Send me a message and I will help you feel ready đź’›

Your body needs more protein now that you’re growing a baby. Protein helps build your baby’s tissues, supports your blood volume, and keeps you feeling strong.

Most experts say:

In early pregnancy you need protein similar to before pregnancy.

In the second and third trimesters you’ll likely need around 70 grams a day or more to support your baby’s growth and your own health.

Good protein choices include lean meats, eggs, fish low in mercury, dairy, beans, lentils, nuts, seeds, and tofu. Try to include protein at every meal and snack so you spread it through your day.

If you find it hard to eat enough protein because of nausea or appetite changes, talk with your midwife or nutrition provider about food ideas or gentle supplements. Your care team can help you find what works for you.

If you’ve had stitches after childbirth, your body is already doing important healing work — and a little extra care can make a big difference. 🤍
Here’s how to support recovery gently and safely:

✨ Keep the area clean
Wash daily with warm water. You don’t need soaps or harsh products. Gently pat dry rather than rubbing.

✨ Support comfort and reduce swelling
Cold packs (wrapped in cloth) can help in the first few days. Sitting on a soft cushion or lying on your side can also ease pressure.

✨ Stay on top of pain relief
If recommended by your care provider, take pain relief regularly rather than waiting for discomfort to build.

✨ Change pads often
Keeping the area dry and clean helps reduce irritation and supports healing.

✨ Gentle movement helps circulation
Short walks and light movement can support healing, but listen to your body and rest when you need to.

✨ Watch for signs of infection
Increased pain, redness, swelling, heat, discharge, or a strong smell aren’t normal — reach out to your midwife or GP if anything doesn’t feel right. Ask your parter to check for any signs of infection.

✨ Be patient with your body
Stitches can feel uncomfortable, tight, or itchy as they heal — this is common. Healing takes time, and everyone’s recovery looks different.

You’ve just done something incredible.
Recovery isn’t about rushing — it’s about care, rest, and support.

If you have questions or need reassurance about healing after birth, message me anytime — you don’t have to navigate this alone. 💛
