✨Fly high dear sister Kashia Faumui✨
Singing our father’s original song Kahoa that she knew and also sang with us on many stages as part of United Nesian Movement - we dedicate this song to you.
Today we gathered not just in grief, but in love — to remember our sister, our friend, our family.
In our Pacific culture, we don’t walk through life alone. We are woven together — through laughter, shared meals, late-night talks, and the quiet moments where words weren’t even needed. And she was part of that weave. A strong, beautiful thread that held us closer.
Her presence reminded us of what it means to truly show up for one another. She gave her time, her warmth, her spirit — freely and wholeheartedly. And because of that, each of us here carries a piece of her.
When we lose someone like her, it shakes us. It reminds us that life is fragile, that tomorrow is not promised. But it also teaches us something deeper — something we cannot ignore.
It teaches us to love louder.
To forgive quicker.
To check in on each other more often.
To not wait for “one day” to say the things that matter.
Her life, no matter how long or short, had meaning. It had impact. And the greatest way we can honour her is not just in our tears today, but in how we live from tomorrow.
Let us be kinder.
Let us be more present.
Let us carry her spirit in the way we treat each other.
Though she is no longer here in body, she will always remain in our stories, our memories, and in the way our community continues to love and stand together. She is in heaven dancing her heart out with the most angelic audience and with the Father.
Rest in love, our sister. You will never be forgotten.
Toka a I he nonga moe fiemalie ae Eiki Kashia.
Ofa lahi atu to the Faumui family- we pray that God will give you peace that only He can give in this time of loss.
