Everyday is feeling more and more aligned to what I’m wanting to achieve and how I want to feel.

Without the pressure or need to be perfect.

I remember the day I finally put firm boundaries in place at work.

People almost seemed offended when I wouldn’t comment on their complaints or judgments about other people and their workload.

I used to go into fixing mode or gold space for them until my energy was depleted.

I’d constantly burn myself out by taking on everyone else’s problems as my own.

And when I finally created boundaries and worked on releasing my own stress.

I’d never felt so free and as if the heaviness had lifted.

The more you learn about the science of stress and trauma, the more you will realise that you were never the “problem” and there is nothing “wrong” with you.

Your body has just been trying to protect you.
