🎯 Getting ready for work: A hands-on workshop for families
Transitioning from school to work is a significant milestone for young people with disability, and families play a vital role in making it happen.
Join us on Thursday, 27 November from 9:30 am–2:30 pm at Hawker College for a hands-on workshop designed for families of students with disability in years 10–12.
During the workshop, you'll:
✨ begin creating a clear vision for your young person's future
✨ explore Customised Employment approaches
✨ discover practical ways to observe and record skills and passions
✨ explore workplace possibilities close to home
✨ hear real family stories about getting started.
This workshop is completely FREE thanks to funding from the Department of Social Services. Lunch and refreshments provided!
Led by Jan Kruger and Fiona McIntosh, you'll walk away with ideas and tools to use straight away.
