We are committed to keeping all participants safe from fraud.

In recognition of International Fraud Awareness Week, we’re sharing some tips to help you recognise fraud and learn how to protect yourself.

Some helpful tips include:

🔒 Never share your myGov login details.

🔒 Make sure you know who you are speaking with. If you are unsure, ask them for proof of employment.

🔒 Make sure your plan nominee is someone you trust as they can act on your behalf.

🔒 Only show your NDIS plan to people you know well and trust.

🔒 Always keep records of the things you pay for with your NDIS funds.

🔒 Always check your invoices to make sure you haven’t been charged for services you didn’t receive.

🔒 Don’t use providers who are offering vouchers, gifts or cash.
