ABOUT THE ROLE:
- permanent casual
- minimum of 20 hours per week
- flexible hours
- medical reception experience is preferred but not essential
- supportive and welcoming team environment
- on the job training provided
- stable employment in a reputable clinic

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- greeting patients and visitors
- answering and managing phone calls
- booking and managing appointments
- handling patient enquiries and correspondence
- processing payments
- assisting GPs with general treatment room/procedural tasks
- maintaining patient confidentiality at all times

Capalaba Medical Centre (CMC) is located at 189 Old Cleveland Rd, Capalaba, in the Bayside Medical Precinct. CMC is a large, friendly, family-orientated general medical practice and skin cancer service accredited with the Royal Australian College of Genreal Practitioners.

The practice commenced operation in 1976, and has gradually evolved into one of the largest general practice surgeries in Australia, privately owned and operated by a team of dedicated doctors, nurses and support staff with decades of clinical and surgical experience.

Because of our large number of doctors with diverse interests, the practice is extensively equipped and capable of managing many conditions that otherwise would require more expensive specialist care. This extensive capability frequently attracts patient referrals from other clinics as well as the local Redland Hospital.

Our doctors have a commitment to providing a high standard of General Practice care along with continuing medical education, and the surgery is registered as a training practice for the Australian General Practice Training Program. We uphold the code of ethics outlined by the AMA and a copy of this code is available for your perusal on the patient information board.
