📢 Important Clinic Update

You may have seen recent reports about asbestos being detected in some batches of kinetic sand. As always, the safety and well-being of the children and families who visit our clinic is our top priority. 💛

For this reason, we have removed all kinetic sand from our therapy spaces effective immediately.

We know kinetic sand is a much-loved sensory tool, and we’ll be replacing it with a range of safe, fun, and engaging alternatives to continue supporting sensory exploration and fine motor development.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support as we prioritise a safe environment for every child.

Starting conversations can make a big difference. Asking “Are you OK?” and truly listening can help families feel seen, supported, and connected. 💬✨

We were lucky to have special guest OT Lisa join us despite being on maternity leave 💕 She brought along her gorgeous 3-month-old daughter who was the best addition to our education. It was such a valuable (and heart-warming 🥰) session, and the team loved it! 💜

🧬 Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is a rare genetic condition that affects appetite, growth, behaviour, and development. Early signs include low muscle tone and feeding difficulties, with challenges like insatiable hunger and emotional regulation emerging later. Awareness helps us support and understand those with PWS 💙

🧠💪 As OTs, we play a vital role in supporting children with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). From managing low muscle tone and motor delays to developing routines, emotional regulation strategies, and supporting feeding and sensory needs, our work helps children with PWS thrive in their daily lives. 💙

Let’s keep raising awareness and promoting meaningful participation!
