Taking thyroxine (T4) in combination with vitamin C may assist in improving absorption of thyroxine, leading to improved levels of both T4 & T3, in individuals with Hashimotos and hypothyroidism.

Participants added 500mg of vitamin C in water for btw 8 weeks-3 months to their usual supplementation with thyroxine; at the end of the trial periods, levels of T4 & T3 had increased.

Vitamin C appeared to improve solubility of thyroxine in the gut. 🍊

Yesterday my mood and motivation were a 4/10 and I was debating on whether I could leave the couch to see .waldinger but because he is the director of the worlds longest study on happiness and his talk is in the top 10 talks of all time, I thought he might be able to teach me a thing or two and he really came through!

☺️one of the top predictors of happiness is social connection
☺️Attention is the most basic form of love
😊Genuine curiosity about what someone is saying, builds healthy relationships & connections
😌While there disagreements in every relationship, affection and respect keep relationships vibrant and connected
☺️Warm connections/ relationships predict better cardiovascular health & healthier brains
🙂People defined happiness via effort, time, trust and shared experiences with others not gifts and things 😘 11/10 ###
