(ALFF) is Melbourne’s newest event committed to showcasing creative, thought-provoking screen experiences that promote animal rights and vegan action.

📽️ Across two days, they are screening nearly 20 unique films: feature length films, documentaries, short films, animations, and experimental films, which seek to amplify animal voices, foster empathy, and creatively reimagine human-animal relationships.

Vegan, veteran scientist, visionary environmental and animal rights advocate, Jane Goodall, we thank you for your super-human, positive planetary impact. 🙏🌏

From an article by Jane for her the Jane Goodall Institute:

"... great Hungarian philosopher of science, Ervin László, said that heavy meat eating was a crime against the future of humanity. How far sighted was that remark.

There are three main reasons why we should eat less – or preferably no – meat. Firstly, so that we may eliminate factory farms. Secondly, to reduce the shocking damage the meat production industry inflicts on the environment and its contribution to climate change. And finally, to improve human health."

Raw Events Australia Follow us on Instagram: www.instagram.com/raweventsaustralia We have been sharing our passion for highlighting healthy lifestyles since founding the event hosting and promotions service Raw Events Australia in 2010. Our founder also set-up and ran the world’s first 100% plant-based, social-enterprise café Realfoods from 2010-2014 at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University). Some of our recent events have included: The 'Nutrition in Healthcare Symposium' tours with headline presenter Dr Kim Williams MD (American College of Cardiology 2016 President, Chief of Medicine and Cardiology - Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, U.S.A.), and local healthcare practitioners such as Dr Heleen Roex MD and Dr Alphonse Roex MD.

The Australian/New Zealand tour of 'What I Wish I was Taught in Medical School about Nutrition' with keynote presenter, Dr Michael Klaper MD (USA), and local healthcare professionals.

The Southern Hemisphere premiere tour for the documentary 'What The Health'. Each screening featured a medical panel (with our record-breaking attendance Australian Premiere in Melbourne attracting nearly 1000 attendees to the iconic Astor Theatre).

Other films we have premiered and screened in the Southern Hemisphere include: 'Cowspiracy: the sustainability secret’, ‘The End of Meat’ and ‘Running For Good’.
