LET’S MAKE 2026 YOUR BEST YEAR YET!
HOW DO WE SET GOAL/S THAT REALLY MATTER?
Sometimes setting a goal has less to do with the goal itself and more to do with how you’re approaching it.
This is where SMART can help you move forward with your goals.
SMART is an acronym for a goal setting framework. SMART goals are a best practice for setting goals because they can help you carefully planned, executable, and track.
SMART means ⏬️
S = Specific - What exactly is your goal?
“I want to lose 10kg” A specific goal
M= Measurable - How will you track progress?
Use the right METRIC and measuring systems – these usually involve NUMBERS.
A=Achievable - Is this goal something you can reasonably reach?
Is this goal achievable for you?
R= Relevant - Why this goal?
Is this for YOU! Or are you trying to make someone else happy?
Make sure your goals match YOUR specific life goals! They are your goals, no one elses.
T= Time-bound - Set a realistic deadline to make it real. Without a deadline, you are more prone to not reaching your goal/s
Once your goal is set in place, it’s important that stay the course.
Be consistent for longer enough.
If you have trouble with this, find someone who can help guide you, like a trainer if your goal is exercise base.
Last thing, Discipline is the Process, your daily habits. Your Motivation is the Outcome, your goal!
Without discipline, you won’t achieve your motivation!
