Our Crafty Kids Club groups last week were filled with stories, creativity and hands-on learning! 📚🎨
Across a 3-day program, each session began with a shared story and then brought it to life through themed craft activities.
🐠 The Rainbow Fish
🐛 The Very Hungry Caterpillar
🐻 We’re Going on a Bear Hunt
Children were supported to develop fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, sharing, sequencing, instruction following, teamwork and creative thinking!

In OT, goals aren’t just about ticking boxes.
They’re a way to focus on what’s most meaningful to your child and family.
Whether it’s zipping up a jacket, managing transitions, or playing with others, goals give us a shared direction.
✅ They help your child work toward things that matter to them
✅ They support progress in daily life and independence
✅ They honour your child’s strengths, challenges, and pace
✅ And they make therapy purposeful, not pressured
When we set goals together, we celebrate the small wins, adapt when things change, and always keep your child’s wellbeing at the centre.
💡 Progress may look different for every child, and that’s okay. Because growth is more than just a checkbox.

“An Oak tree is a daily reminder that great things often have small beginnings” - Matshona Dhliwayo
Only About Kids (OAK) Occupational Therapy is an Occupational Therapy service for children aged 0-12 years of age with developmental delays, learning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. We are a mobile and clinic-based service located in Caroline Springs and surrounding suburbs in Melbourne.
At Only About Kids (OAK) we work collaboratively with children, their families, their significant others such as school teachers and any health professionals involved. We provide assessment, intervention, education and coaching to encourage children to maximise their potential and support their development.
We deliver individualised programs, have a strong focus on family-centred practice and strongly encourage family participation. We incorporate fun and playful activities to encourage children’s engagement in therapy, whilst using practical tools that you can utilise at home. Parents are the experts in their child’s life, and we want to empower families to continue following on with strategies outside of therapy sessions.
An initial appointment is completed prior to starting an individualised therapy program to establish areas where your child requires support and develop collaborative goals.
At OAK we are able to provide services for clients who have NDIS (Self-managed or Plan-managed), Private Health and Medicare funding (Mental Health Care Plan or Enhanced Primary Care Plan).
