🌈 As the celebrations begin for Mardi Gras, we’re proud to shine a light on the importance of visibility, inclusion and belonging across eHealth NSW.

This year, Henry Babic from our team has shared his reflections on what means to him, from the power of showing up, to the joy of being able to express your whole, authentic self. It’s a great reminder of why inclusive workplaces matter.

It was a privilege to be part of Festival 2026 on Gadigal Country, celebrating the strength, resilience and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Yesterday, eHealth NSW proudly partnered with the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority, deepening our connections with mob and community at Victoria Park.

We listened deeply, shared openly and strengthened the relationships that sit at the heart of our work.

At eHealth NSW, we’re committed to co designing digital health solutions in genuine partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities as part of our Aboriginal Employment Strategy.

From the digIT Aboriginal IT Employment Program to targeted digital roles across our organisation, we’re creating opportunities and building a workforce that reflects the communities we serve.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand for a yarn with Elders, families, young people and future digital health leaders. We look forward to our next community event.

Today NSW Health marks the National Day of Mourning to honour the victims and all those impacted by the horrific antisemitic attack at Bondi Beach on 14 December 2025.

The impact of this terrible attack continues to be deeply felt, and our thoughts remain with the loved ones of those 15 people who tragically lost their lives and those injured, our Jewish colleagues and community members, and all those affected.

Across the country, we come together in solidarity today, to mourn the innocent lives lost and to acknowledge today’s theme, chosen by the Chabad community in Bondi: ‘Light will win - a gathering of unity and remembrance’.

There are several ways to participate in this National Day of Mourning, including:
- observing a minute’s silence at 7.01pm AEDT this evening
- leaving a symbolic candle on your doorstep or window as a symbol or remembrance, mourning and solidarity with the Jewish community
- undertaking one or more of the 15 Mitzvah for Bondi acts: https://www.pmc.gov.au/news/national-day-mourning-victims-bondi-beach-terrorist-attack
- sharing a condolence message through the Bondi Beach condolence book: https://www.nsw.gov.au/departments-and-agencies/premiers-department/about-us/bondi-beach-condolence-book

The community response to the devastating attack on the Jewish community at Bondi Beach demonstrates the profound impact of coming together to support others, and how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Now more than ever, kindness and compassion are integral to upholding inclusion, respect, and humanity in our society.

Light will win.

Have you ever wondered how the latest cloud technologies and approaches could improve our clinical and corporate systems? ☁️

That’s what 40 members of the Cloud Community of Practice discussed at the NSW Health Cloud Community Day last month.

It was a day for cloud enthusiasts across the health system to share new ideas and collaborate through hands-on activities.

Events like this play an important role in developing the technical skills of our people. Through social learning activities and self-guided learning pathways, we’re able to build our capability to deliver future technology solutions that help to improve the experiences of NSW Health clinicians and patients.
