Australian Voice Festival

Australian Voice Festival Weekend of professional workshops run by leading musical performers targeting singers looking to grow their musical careers.

Event: Australian Voice Festival
Date: 17 & 18 September

Set to become the most anticipated event on a singer’s calendar… the inaugural Australian Voice Festival is heading to Sydney Olympic Park this September. The role of a performer today is that of a story teller… whether as a dancer, singer, actor or a combination of all three. Whichever arena is the “chosen one”, the need to be a true Triple Threat is essential. Running consecutively with the Australian Dance Festival classes, the Australian Voice Festival will offer various vocal classes in different genres, as well as drama classes to make up the necessary segments of the Triple Threat Process. We are delighted to announce that leading Broadway vocal coach Michael Lavine and one of Australia’s Music Theatre leading ladies, Amanda Harrison will be taking classes all weekend. They will join world class performers, record producers, song writers, drama and dance professionals who will be gathered to reveal what is truly needed to make a presence on the world stage. Additionally, with parents and teachers in mind, industry related lectures will be presented by highly celebrated artists as well as qualified educators in their field. Topics will include:

· Performance Anxiety

· The Audition Process

· Vocal Health

· How to work with Agents

Purchase your tickets early as class sizes are limited and demand is already high.
