3 days of bikes, schools and stories with Tour De Cure. Each person who gave up their time, money and energy had a touching connection to cancer and or the drive to see cancer cured. This tour was not for the faint hearted - nor those who like to sleep in!
Over my career I have seen people who have been diagnosed with cancer, treated and i have seen the unglamorous aftermath. And personally, it was also a celebration of cancer research. The gruelling Interferon treatment trial that Mark was in has helped him be 11 years cancer free. It was worth the effort to paticipate.

Next week I will be supporting bike riders in the Tour De Cure Vic Discovery Bike Ride. My time and fundraising is dedicated to my patients past and present with a cancer diagnosis. Womens' Health Week 2024

This week I'm throwing out a challenge to all women to spend some time looking out for your health. Whether it's a breast check in the shower, making an appointment with a health professional, having a tough conversation to outsource something to create more "me" time or booking a girls weekend away I hope you think about and prioritise your health this week!
