✨ Dearmouring the Sacred Pelvis ✨

When I sit with my patients with pelvic pain at .com.au , our work isn’t about fixing or releasing tight muscles. It’s about something far deeper; remembering the body as wise, protective, and deserving of our loving attention.

We begin not with force, but with connection and compassionate curiosity 💗
— What feels good?
— Where am I holding tension?
— What is my body protecting?
— What emotions are alive here?
— What stories has my pelvis been asked to carry?

It’s only when the nervous system feels safe that the body can soften.

Safety creates the container for healing; a space where pain can be witnessed, patterns of protection can unwind, and the sacred pelvis can be reclaimed as a portal of pleasure, creativity, and power 🙌🏼

Your body is not a problem to be solved.
She is a story to be listened to and a sacred vessel to be revered.

I was invited to present in Week 5 of the Women’s Health Program at where my topic was one close to my heart - Spiritual Wellness and Embodiment.

There’s so much focus right now on midlife women building muscle, eating more protein, and getting strong (and yes it’s absolutely essential 💪🏽).

But also…
💫 What do you truly want to experience in this one wild and precious life?
💫 How is your connection to yourself — your heart, your inner knowing?
💫 Can you hear the whispers of your body’s wisdom?
💫 Are you attuned to your inner world and the rhythms of the world around you?

True women’s wellness goes beyond the physical.

It’s about learning the language of your body, honouring your intuition, and allowing that wisdom to guide you toward a life of authenticity, vitality, and fulfilment (Like sexy chair and pole dancing) 💃🏻

This is the deeper work.
This is embodiment.

💃 Warning: Midlife women gone wild (in the best possible way).

This weekend on retreat we did a pole and chair dancing workshop with the fabulous Star from ⭐️

And let me tell you…
These goddesses did not hold back!🔥

Not a single:
“I can’t.”
“I’m not strong enough.”
“I’ll just watch.”

Nope. They were up that pole before the music even started. 😉

Here’s the thing…
They ALL strength train.
They know their bodies.
They trust their power.

This is what happens when women stay strong; not just for health, but for aliveness 🔥

Sexy doesn’t have an age limit.
Confidence doesn’t expire.
Pleasure isn’t just for your 20s.

When you lift weights and honour your body…
You don’t just build muscle, you build mojo.💋

These women reminded me that staying strong keeps you free, playful, and deliciously alive.

This is for my patients experiencing chronic pain, auto-immune disease or are struggling with feelings of stuck-ness or helplessness….

Know that we ALL (including me) need to overcome the voices in our head that like to keep us stuck in patterns of thought and behavior; even when we don’t like where we are.

I thought of you all as I dragged myself up this morning, fatigued from what I suspect is tanked Iron levels from two weeks on a low protein, vegetarian diet in India. My body is sore from getting back into strength training and I’ve been going to bed too late.

The key to changing and building new habits is cultivating Tapas - the Sanskrit word for gentle, loving discipline and inner fire to take aligned, values based action towards who we want to be and the life we want to live.

This is why I suggest starting each day with a sacred ritual. To honor you as a divine being; mind, body and soul intertwined.

Starting with an easeful walk, inspiring deeply as you listen to the singing birds at dawn, feeling the radiant sun on your skin. Allowing time for the innate intelligence of your body to whisper sweet wisdom, guiding you towards your next steps. Your body holds so much wisdom.

The heaviness you may feel each morning is not you. Deep down I’m sure you know this. As your awareness of mind and body expands, work towards building tapas - your inner fire and discipline to take that small next step.

It is the culmination of these small right action steps that will guide you home to wellness and magic.

As you wake up this morning ask yourself:
What do I need?
Listen.
How can you meet those needs…

AGING WOMEN…

The first thing I noticed in this photo?

My oily hair from just having had a beautiful shirodhara treatment in India…
and the lines around my eyes.

Signs of aging.
My youth slipping away.
That familiar moment of self-judgment crept in fast.

But after a deep breath, maybe a loving slap to my own face and some reflection,
I chose to ignore the cultural noise.

The messages telling women we need to “anti-age” to fight what is actually a natural, sacred process 🤯

Because aging is a privilege!! A privilege people I have loved deeply in my life did not receive.

Every line, every change is proof of a life fully lived.

My facial expressions tell stories of joy, heartbreak, and resilience.
Of birthing (big!) babies.
Of burying my husband as a young woman.
Of learning to love and laugh again.

After practicing self-compassion,
I began to see something different in that photo…

A woman who returned to India six years
after her first pilgrimage, grateful, grounded, and alive.

A woman who could finally see how far she’s come.
How she has found purpose.
Joy.
Deep connection.
Laughter in everyday life.

Yes, it sucks that this kind of acceptance
still takes daily practice.
But I am determined to step into my wild woman years with freedom, wisdom, pure joy. 🤍

3 things women get wrong when trying to build muscle + bone strength 👇

1️⃣ Training in a circuit — moving too quickly between exercises keeps your heart rate up but doesn’t give your muscles the time under tension they need to grow.

2️⃣ Picking up the same weight every time doesn’t create change. You have to gradually overload your muscles to create change.

3️⃣ Not getting enough rest + recovery. Strength is built when you rest, not when you train. Without recovery, your nervous system burns out and your results plateau.

If you’ve been training hard but not seeing results… these are likely the reasons why.
Let’s change that. 💪✨

Motherhood is an incredible rite of passage for women. It comes with a multitude of mixed feelings and emotions, from euphoria and warm, unconditional motherly love, to uncertainty and almost torturous tiredness. This is all normal!! Let’s face it, motherhood is wonderful, but it’s a tough gig, and none of us really know what we are doing!!! I strongly believe that we as mothers, need to take care of ourselves first, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. If we want balance in our lives, and are practicing healthy living through regular exercise and healthy eating, we are better able to meet the ever-changing demands of motherhood, lead our families and be a positive role model for our children. We may slip, an even fall (I certainly do!!) but if we have these healthy practices to return to, we can embrace motherhood with positive energy. That is why I have designed 8 week health and wellness challenges for Mums and 12 week online exercise and nutrition programs for pregnancy and motherhood. You don’t have to do this alone!! It takes a village to raise a family, and we are here to support and guide you with our professional knowledge, practical skills and personal experience.
