A couple of days before I flew to London last week, I started a portrait of a beautiful lady, a very good friend of mine. She is a very dear Sistar who I had the good fortune to meet in a local moon circle ten years ago (the magic of synchronicity!)

I started with a quick burnt umber sketch over a creamy peach wash blend of white, hansa yellow & burnt sienna, blocking in the spaces of the face and creating shadows and light. It's basically shapes, not a face at all at this point.The very early stages of a painting usually look awkward and nothing like you want it to, but the energy builds as brush strokes build layers of detail.

It's an idea from a couple of years ago, when I took the original black and white photos, knowing I would create a portrait one day.Who knows where it will go when get back, hopefully to a place where I am happy with the original vision,capturing the energy and the beauty of her spirit and the Soul.Wirk in progress and a long way to go !

I'm needing some serene music after spending all morning sorting out website issues! 🫣

I've decided to step back from an expensive Wix renewal and run with a free site option for a while as I feel the intuitive nudge to shift my offerings and to be honest, Im not sure what that will look like. I've spent years building it all myself, tweeking and updating (it's exhausting and is it worth it?)

This fresh,Arian energy and approaching New Moon prompts a new perspective and that's certainly true for me. Over the last 12 months, we've felt a desire to travel, to be free from routine and to go on an adventure! Feb and March on the Murray River gave us a taste of it, as we trialled our caravan for the first time and threw ourselves into off-grid living. We didn't want to come back.

Quiet Devon days are helping me tune in to what will slowly unfold. I know in my heart that my ART & SOUND HEALING, CRYSTALS, ORACLE CARDS & PAST LIFE JOURNEYS will all be in the mix, plus other elements too and of course, Art always leads the way.

So it's time for a break with cuppa and and an Eccles Cake now, I feel like I've earned it ! 😅

Ohhh it's late and no one will be looking, but I'm posting a few photos anyway!😊 I appear to have quite a few new followers and so I'd like to say a really big thank to you all 🙏 It amazes me, because I post erratically, only when the words and photos flow and that doesn't fit with the algorhythms.Honestly its like shouting into the abyss sometimes! I truly appreciate it when people like and comment as sharing feels good and hopefully inspires you to create too.

So these are my last 5 handpainted drums for a little while as heading back to see my Dad in the UK next week.Each one has its own energy, but all are created from the frequency of natural magic of Earth & Stars.They can be played, displayed and form part of your Altar for crystal gridding and lunar intentions.They will be available this Easter weekend.Freya helped me to arrange and photograph them as you can see!
