This is our favourite way to start the day!

Celery juice is amazing. It balances & and flushes your liver, supports adrenal health, fights auto immune disease, and it's even suggested to kill Epstein Barr and Shingles viruses!!

It is best taken on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, at least 15-30min before eating.

We honestly wish we could describe just how AMAZING this mix smells. It’s got that warm, heady aroma of freshly crushed Ceylon cinnamon, balanced with white pine needle, star anise, clove, and fennel… then the subtle sweetness of hibiscus and elderflower kicks in. Add in the grounding earthiness of dandelion root and leaf, and it’s unreal. If we could bottle this scent into a video clip, this blend would sell itself.

We have been getting a few messages lately asking about our white pine detox tea blend and wanted to jump on and confirm that yes, it is still available for purchase.

Those of you who have been with us for a while might be searching for it under its old name. We rebranded the name to "Detox & Revitalise" due to some shadow-banning 😉

Our Detox & Revitalise tea is a truly stunning blend, often referred to as the "Christmas Blend" thanks to those spiced notes, and beautiful pink hue when brewed.

Not only is it delicious (psst, it makes an amazing iced tea - add some lime for an extra kick!), but it is truly good for you!

Ingredients include:

𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐞 - provides high levels of Suramin & Shikimic Acid, alongside being extremely high in Vitamin C - in the past pine was used to treat scurvy.
𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐟 & 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐭 - In studies, dandelion blocked the protein-to-protein interactions between the S1 sub protein of the spike protein and the human ACE2 cell surface receptor.
𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐞 - is the main source of Shikimic Acid - and is the active ingredient in Tamiflu medication.
𝐅𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝 - the active ingredient in fennel seeds is Shikimic Acid.
𝐄𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 - contains bioflavonoids like quercertin, isoquercitrin and anthocyanins, and they are potential antioxidant, antiviral and anti-inflammatory compounds which are highly beneficial for the human body.
𝐇𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬 - contains zinc, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and bioflavonoids, alongside high beneficial antioxidants. Hibiscus has been shown in various studies to be effective in treating various forms of influenza.
𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 - contains many vitamins, and is known for treating respiratory infections and the common cold.
𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 - a known anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory, and is often used in treatment of the common cold.

Birthday season has once again settled upon our household, and I'm baking the third & final cake for September.

Sauerkraut is a messy business! 🤣

I have it all over my bench tops, somehow on my shirt and also up my arms (?)

These 4 jars are the culmination of two organic cabbages, onions, some salt, whey & mustard seeds for a bit of a kick.

They've been stewing away in my fermenting crock for about a week, and now will be stored in the back of my pantry for a minimum of 6 months, maybe up to a year, before we will eat them.

I still have jars of homemade sauerkraut in my pantry that are from August 2024, and they are absolutely delicious! 🤤

PS that's just mild discolouration/browning in the 2nd photo - there is absolutely nothing wrong with that jar of deliciousness 😋

This is a practice that I highly recommend everyone taking up - there is nothing like home-fermented produce, particularly considering its powerful probiotic contents.

**added bonus - it's so much cheaper than store bought probiotics!! 😉🤑

If this seems like too much effort, try out some short-term lacto fermentation - check out my previous posts on lacto fermentation - it's so simple - all you need is sea salt and filtered water!!

Castor Oil Packs are back in stock! Currently only available as a single waist-wrap pack - sorry, the duo packs are not currently available from our supplier.

These packs are reusable, and made with GOTS certified organic cotton. When not in use, just store it in a ziplock bag in your fridge.

Activated Charcoal is something I always keep in my medicine cabinet - with 3 kids, it's been an absolute necessity!

It is excellent for gastro-intestinal issues, food or alcohol poisoning, heavy metals - the list goes on! It's something I would definitely keep it on hand when travelling overseas, particularly in third-world countries.

We prefer to take activated charcoal in quarter teaspoon doses with lots of water - though you can increase the dose up to 1tsp if the case is particularly severe.
