We all had a great time exploring the Yarra Valley for our latest camp.
Day 1 saw us travel for a beautiful country drive to where we were staying, at the amazing Yarra Valley Holiday Park.
Day 2 we went for a nice drive to take a trip on the amazing Puffing Billy🚂, having lunch with the cheeky Rosellas 🦜 at the Lakeside Station before heading back to Belgrave for the return trip on Puffing Billy🚂.
Day 3 was time to pack up and head to the Healsville Sanctuary🦔🦘🐨🕊🐍🦎 where we saw some awesome animals and everyone was happy to sit down for some lunch before the trip home. Everyone was exhausted by this time after much adventure.
Each night we were served dinner cooked by our young men practising their Independant life skills. Night 1 was Spaghetti Bolognaise🍜 and the 2nd night was a yummy BBQ 🌭 in the camp kitchen while we had a couple of games of pool 🎱, while a couple of the guys watched some tv in front of the nice fire place🔥, Once cleaned up and back at the outstanding Melbourne Tram 912 🚃 which entered the Melbourne Tram ways in 1946. Tram 912 was taken out of service in 1992. In 2022 the Yarra Valley Park Lane Holiday Park was opened and Tram 912 was meticulously transformed into accomodation for their guests to enjoy. Showers🚿 were on the cards to warm our freezing cold🌧 bodies, then with our PJ's on and a hot chocolate ☕️, some Uno🃏 with friends, we were ready to hit the hay🛌, to wake up in the morning, ready to pack up and head home🚗.
Everyone agreed that the time ⏰️ went way to fast, even though we were all very tied.

I am looking for expressions of interest from the community and carers to see if anyone would be interested in joining in a resin board class if we manage to get one to come to our space in Colac.
I think its a great way to get together in a relaxed environment to decompress for a moment. Please send me a message with prefered days and times if interested, or if anyone has any other ideas that would be good to get everyone together.

Last night we had the pleasure of celerating with one of our beautiful Support Workers / Friends, as they move toward the next phase of life. Congratulations to Chloe Pinter and Jock on their engagement and we look forward to the Wedding prep 🍾🥂🎉
