Welcome home, Arnold 🤍

After years of dedicated service as a police horse, Arnold has officially retired and joined us here at Pineridge Farm.

Arnold and Loki share a special history, bred at the same stud, travelling together from over east to Western Australia, and serving side by side as police horses. Their journey has always been intertwined.

Now, they are officially reunited.

This next chapter looks a little different. Retirement will be spent doing what they do best; grooming each other, swimming in the dam, and continuing their purpose by making a meaningful impact in the lives of others through our equine assisted programs.

Thank you to all the wonderful connections we’ve made along this journey. I feel so deeply honoured to be the final soft landing for these beautiful boys 🤍🐴

Told you we had a BIG surprise coming! Today Loki reunited with his old work bestie Arnold & they are heading into retirement side by side here at Pineridge! More details on our new boy coming soon! 💙❤️

Today was spa day for Ex Police Horse Loki ✨
A good wash, a tidy-up, and a whole lot of love! Loki spends most of his days swimming in his dam, so we needed a little help from to bring him back to his clean, gleaming self, although we might need to buy shares in purple shampoo soon 😂
And of course, a well-earned Horslyx treat to finish off the afternoon 🤍

Some bonds are forged long before they ever reach us.
Loki’s story began over east, travelling across the country to Western Australia to serve as a police horse with the 👮🏼‍♂️

Tomorrow, a part of that story comes full circle.

I’ve been quiet here for a while.
That pause wasn’t accidental. Pineridge Farm is a one-woman show, and over the past few months I needed to slow right down and focus on myself and my little ones. Life shifted in a big way, and being present at home had to come first.

It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been grounding. It’s reminded me that we can’t keep giving to others if we’re running on empty. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is pause, even when it’s uncomfortable.

As I begin to find my feet again, Pineridge will start to re-emerge in a gentler way. My focus is on education, wellbeing and giving back sharing time, knowledge and experiences with animals simply because it’s meaningful. I’ll also be sharing more reflections and learning here, so connection can continue even when we’re not physically on the farm.

And because it wouldn’t be Pineridge without a bit of joy, the animals have grown a lot while I’ve been laying low so we can't wait to share updates! We also have a new addition coming to the farm next week and I’m really looking forward to sharing!

These school holidays, let your kids step into farm life with hands-on fun, animals, and outdoor adventures at Pineridge Farm!

Little Farmers (Ages 7 & under)
🗓 Tuesday 30th Sept | 10am – 12pm
🗓 Tuesday 7th Oct | 10am – 12pm
💰 $95 per child

Junior Farmers (Ages 8 & up)
🗓 Friday 3rd Oct | 10am – 1pm
🗓 Friday 10th Oct | 10am – 1pm
💰 $130 per child

Each session includes:
🐴 Pony Pamper & Obstacle Fun
🐄 Feeding & Caring for Farm Animals
🌱 Farm Jobs & Nature Walks
🎨 Take-Home Farm Crafts

Parents are asked to stay during the sessions but we’re always happy to discuss if this is tricky for your family.

The weather lately has been rough! Wild winds, heavy rain, and conditions that just don’t make it fair for anyone.

I want to share a little reminder that when we make the call to reschedule, it’s never just about convenience. It’s about the wellbeing of both you and our horses. 💛

We want our horses to enjoy their work, to be relaxed, and to be fully present in each session. If the weather is making it unsafe, stressful, or simply unpleasant, we’d rather pause and pick a better day.

Thank you for always understanding, sometimes the best choice is to wait for calmer skies, so both you and our horses can have the experience you deserve. 🌱

School holiday fun is coming to Pineridge Farm! 🌾

Introducing Pineridge Farm Club – our brand new school holiday program filled with:
🐴 Pony cuddles
🐮 Animal adventures
🎨 Creative farm crafts & activities
🌱 Learning about animals & nature
🤲 Hands-on farm jobs & outdoor play

We will be running two weekly sessions designed for different age groups, so everyone gets the right mix of fun, learning, and adventure. 💛
