The team at Ridges Family Medical Practice is thrilled to announce our new doctor Dr Kumba Moseray!!

Dr Kumba Moseray is an experienced and compassionate GP who has been providing comprehensive care to patients in the Newcastle region for over 10years. She graduated from Tianjin Medical University in China in 2008 and has worked in the Hunter Area since 2009, completing her GP training in Newcastle in 2017.

Dr Kumba is known for her calm, empathetic and patient-centred approach, taking the time to listen and understand her patients’ concern. She provides holistic care tailored to each individual and works collaboratively with patients to support their long-term health and wellbeing.

Dr Kumba Moseray enjoys all aspects of general practice, with interests in women’s health, paediatrics, preventative care and the management of chronic diseases. She provides mirena and implant insertion and removal. Please note that Dr Kumba does not provide skin cancer checks or perform skin procedures.

Outside of work, Dr Kumba is a devoted wife and mother of two. She values spending time with her family and enjoys travelling whenever possible.

Dr Kumba is pleased to be part of the team at Ridges Family Medical Practice and is currently welcoming new patients. She looks forward to supporting individuals and families within the community.

🎄 Christmas Closure Reminder🎄

As we head into the festive season, we’d like to remind our patients to plan ahead for their healthcare needs for the Christmas/New Year period.

Ridges Family Medical Practice will be closing at midday on Christmas Eve (December 24th) and will reopen on Monday the 5th of January.

Dr Chamila Kulasekara will be doing half days from the 29th of December to the 31st of December.

If you will need scripts or referrals during this period, now is the perfect time to get organised. Please ensure you have everything you need to last over the break, as our doctors and admin team will not be available once the practice is closed.

If you need an appointment or script/referral request, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you.
