Sunshine Butterflies Members & Staff enjoyed a fabulous 'Fashions on the Field' event at 'Our Backyard'.🐴🦋

The day was filled with exciting games, a delicious lunch and a special appearance by our lovely ponies and Jimmy the Donkey!
Members strutted their stuff on the catwalk to show off their amazing outfits and headwear.

A big congratulations to our 'Fashions on the Field' winners and all our stylish participants!

We had a lovely day celebrating at 'Our Backyard'.💜

Many of Sunshine Butterflies’ projects, events, and facilities are non government-funded. We rely on fundraising initiatives like this raffle to continue creating inclusive spaces and meaningful opportunities for people with disability.

The funds that we receive from your generosity are put towards more substantial projects, facility upgrades, essential items or programs that may not receive conventional funding.

Sunshine Butterflies 'Commando Outdoor Education' program had a wonderful day at the UnityWater Sunshine Coast Lightning Cup!⚡️🏆

The Lightning Cup is an all-day inclusive event where schools and community groups come together to enjoy netball in a fun and inclusive environment.

Our members had a blast socialising with local schools, meeting their favourite Lightning players and participating in the events.
They were thrilled to receive medals and certificates for their efforts.

We loved being involved with this event again and cannot wait to do it next year!💜

A huge thank you to everyone who supported Sunshine Butterflies in the Get Fit Give Back program in August/September!💜

All those who purchased a 6-month membership at Eumundi Aquatic Centre helped raise $400 for Sunshine Butterflies!

The funds received will help support the care and feeding costs of Sunshine Butterflies furry farm animals.

Sunshine Butterflies 'Farmability' program recently took a trip out to Belli Beef Online Farm. 🌿🐄

Our educational farm animal, gardening and environmental program had the best time exploring the property, meeting the animals, and learning all about sustainable and regenerative farming practices.

A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Belli Beef Farms for taking the time to show us around and share your knowledge.

Nestled in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Belli Beef is a regenerative farm dedicated to sustainable living and caring for the land. Since 2019, they’ve been producing premium, grass-fed beef, artisan preserves, and pure, raw honey, all made with a focus on quality, biodiversity, and ethical farming. With solar-powered systems, rotational grazing, and over 1,000 trees planted, Belli Beef is proudly leading the way in sustainable, community focused agriculture.

Thanks so much for having us Belli Beef. We hope to visit again soon!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our 'Neigh It Forward' Fundraiser!😃🐴

We are keeping this fundraiser open until 31st October for those who missed out on Walk In Wings, or would like to support our beautiful furry friends at 'Our Backyard'.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will have a profound impact on our charity!

Sunshine Butterflies is raising funds to keep our furry and feathered friends happy, healthy and safe, providing them with food, shelter, vet care and enrichment.

We are inviting our community to get involved and support our much-loved farm animals at ‘Our Backyard’.

From our cheeky goats and cute and cuddly miniature horses, to our ducks, chickens, sheep, peacock and even our donkey, each animal plays a very special role here at Sunshine Butterflies.

In our Farmability animal care program, our animals provide companionship, teach new skills, and bring so much happiness to our members with disability.

Caring for our furry and feathered friends comes with ongoing costs, from food, straw and shelter to vet care and enrichment. By supporting our ‘Neigh It Forward’ Fundraiser you will be helping us provide the very best care for them, so they can continue to bring joy, confidence and connection to our members with disability and the community.

Sunshine Butterflies members recently participated in the 2025 Sailability Regatta.💜⛵️

It was a lovely day on the Noosa River for the 14th Annual Sailability Regatta, hosted by our friends at the Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club.

Under perfect conditions, Sunshine Butterflies members joined sailors from across the community to enjoy a fun and inclusive day on the water.

The Sailability program is all about giving people with disability the opportunity to experience the freedom, joy and independence of sailing.

We are so proud of our member Angelise, who sailed brilliantly to win her heat and place 4th overall in the regatta competition!

A big thank you to Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club, the amazing Sailability volunteers, and all of the organisations who took part.

Thank you for having us. We are already looking forward to next year’s regatta! 🦋

💜🦋 Walk In Wings 2025! 🦋💜

The Noosa River came alive in a sea of purple and butterfly wings this morning as we celebrated our 5th annual Walk In Wings event, proudly brought to you by Herbalife!

Hundreds of the local community, businesses, schools, organisations and individuals from all walks of life joined us at sunrise on the beautiful Noosa River to celebrate inclusion and raise awareness for people with disability.

There was face painting by Cool Faces, delicious coffee by The Coffee Coaster and The Kombi Stop , entertainment from MC Nugget, PILOXERCISE Ltd. dancers and a surprise flash mob.

We had amazing prizes for "Best Dressed Individual", "Best Dressed Child", "Best Dressed Group", "Best Dressed Dog" and "Carers Award".

There was an outside broadcast from 91.1 Hot FM songs from Sunshine Butterflies members and plenty of fun, laughter and colour!
