Its amazing what a bit of practice and patience can achieve..
I used to be too scared to paint because I couldn’t get over the need for my paintings to be perfect from the get go.
Fast forward a year and now I see every painting as an experiment. Some of them work and some don’t but I am learning so much along the way.
I have been so lucky to have Dave Charles Artist to mentor me on my painting journey. I truly believe anyone can learn to paint, you just have to give yourself the grace to let go of perfectionism.

Below are my 2 latest paintings that were displayed in the Connections art show at Avoca for the 5 lands walk a couple of weeks ago. The jellyfish are sold but the pelican is still for sale.
