The Book Buggy The Book Buggy provides a fun method for distributing donated books to children of the Cowra Shire.

We all understand the important role reading plays throughout life. Sometimes we just need a little reminder that reading is also meant to be enjoyable.

YES! That is exactly right. UNREAL 🥳🤩👏

496 children's books made it safely into the hands of the young readers in our township during the Christmas School Holidays - ALL THANKS TO OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!!

THANK YOU to these businesses who hosted a Book Bug Box and encouraged our young people to spend some time improving their literacy over the holidays

The Book Bug has completed its first year of sharing books.
In 2024 she shared 57 books at her first event - the New Years Eve Beach Party.
2025 saw her share another 2269 books with our local children, bringing the total tally to 2326!!

HOORAY for all of our young people who are taking their first steps in literacy simply by opening a book cover. May there be many happy years of stories ahead for them.

And THANK YOU to every business and organisation who has assisted in the sharing process by offering to be become a Book Box Buddy Business. Thank you for creating that special Village for our children
