Art Therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of art making to help improve a person's physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Art Therapy can be provided for groups or for individuals depending on the client's needs. Prior to Jodie completing her diploma in Art Therapy she worked with the Guidance and Wellbeing team in a Primary School as a teaching assistant/therapy assistant addressing social & emotional needs and anxiety. Jodie’s passion is helping others to recognise and be the best version of themselves that they can be. Jodie currently works as an Art Therapist and as a Support Worker. She holds a valid blue card and disability worker screening card. She has a diploma in Art Therapy and is currently undertaking study in a Diploma of Counseling.
