Do you or someone you know snore??? Well we can help with that.
If you have observed your loved one snoring or stopping breathing/ gasping. They might have a condition known as sleep apnoea.
They are ways in which you can find out if your friend or loved one does have this.
We offer a HOME -BASED SLEEP STUDY that can be covered by Medicare if you meet the Medicare criteria mentioned of the referral we have. Then all anyone need to do is be over 18 years old get a doctor to sign and date the referral then we can book you into undertake the Home-Based Sleep Study. Yes you can sleep in your own bed.
You will come to our clinic in the late afternoon where we wire you up for the sleep study and then go home and return all the equipment the next day where we send it off to the sleep scientists that score the study.
Within 7-10 working days your report is back and we notify you and your doctor do you can discuss the report.
If it shows you do have sleep apnoea the next step is to do a 30day CPAP trial with us for $149. That’s where we look after you to see how you go whilst on therapy. If we are going to sleep why not try and get the best quality sleep we can get.
Here’s some hints to help you improve your sleep.
Establish a bedtime routine. Same time every night/ take a bath before bed/ read/meditate.
Cool/Dark Room.
Avoid screen time.
Lavender around your bedroom helps with sleep/sniff or place in pillow slip. Increases deep sleep.
Poor Sleep equals productivity loss.
Also leads to serious health problems.
