Hi all and welcome to our page for Iluka Support Services!
It has been a dream of mine since starting support work in 2014 and more so recently being in a Support Coordination role that I have wanted to make a difference in the community sector.
Being a Support Coordinator has opened my eyes to low levels of care by providers in many different ways and has given me the resources to go out on my own to provide people with disabilities a high level of care.
I want to provide high quality of support using my Support Work and Support Coordinator knowledge and assist the people I work with to empower them to address the barriers that stop them from living their best life.
We have a youthful, energetic, qualified (or keen to learn) team of Support Workers who all have their own personal or lived experience working with people with disabilities.
My staff will be trained by myself and will have ongoing support from me to ensure the quality of support is going on the right direction.
I have set up each Support Worker with a profile so you can choose your own Support Worker with who you wish to work with. I will do my best to make this happen but please know this is not always possible, I would suggest picking a top 3!
