The last few weeks have been tough. Zack has been facing some challenges, and I instantly felt my body shift into fight-or-flight mode. I knew it was happening, but I didnât stop it.
For two weeks, I ran on stressâcoffee became my crutch, my nutrition slipped, I forgot my supplements, and my routine fell apart. Anxiety and nervous energy took over. I knew what I should be doing, but it felt hard to implement.
Then, I hit pause. I sat with myself and did a check-in. I needed to bring back my non-negotiablesânourishing my body, supporting my nervous system, and making sure my adrenals donât burn out. When stress lingers too long, I feel it in the form of fatigue.
Now, Iâm prioritizing the things that get me out of fight-or-flight and back into rest and digest:
⨠Red light therapy for cellular repair
đ§ Morning ice baths to reset my nervous system
đĽ Nutritious, whole foods to fuel my body
đż Supplements & herbs to support my adrenals
đśââď¸ Daily movement & walks to regulate stress
đŹ Breathwork to calm my mind and body
đ Staying on top of tasks to avoid procrastination & extra stress
Because health isnât about being perfectâitâs about recognizing when weâve drifted and bringing ourselves back. đ
Have you drifted and struggling to get back on track?
