• Paper, pencils, texters
• Large, colourful fabric and material

🌿 Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation 🌿
Youth Alcohol & Drug Program

We are proud to be delivering our Youth Alcohol & Drug Program for young people, led by Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation.

This program creates a safe, non-judgemental space where young people can come together to learn, yarn, and heal through creativity, and connection.

✨ What makes this program different?
Our sessions are hands-on and story-based, using:
🎨 Painting and creative expression
🎶 Music and rhythm
🗣️ Yarning circles
📖 Storytelling and lived experience
And activities.

Rather than lectures or worksheets, we walk alongside young people to explore:
• Alcohol and drug use
• Choices and consequences
• Mental health and wellbeing
• Identity, strength, and resilience
• Connection and hope

This program is trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and youth-led, supporting young people to find their voice, reflect on their journey, and build healthier pathways forward.

🌱 Healing happens when young people feel seen, heard, and valued.

🙏 A big thank you to Yvonne Neave for not only making the presentation look amazing, but also for co-facilitating the program alongside me. Your creativity, commitment, and support make such a meaningful difference.

💛 And a heartfelt thank you to the amazing participants who showed up, shared, listened, and gave their time. Your courage, honesty, and presence are what make this work truly powerful.

For bookings, partnerships, or more information, please reach out to Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation.

🎄A CHRISTMAS PRAYER🎄

Heavenly Father,
On this holy Christmas Day, we pause and give thanks for the greatest gift of all Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Thank You for the hope He brings,
the love He teaches,
and the peace He offers to a weary world.

As we gather today, help us remember that Christmas is not found in presents or celebrations alone, but in the miracle of Your love made flesh.

Born in humility, wrapped in grace,
Jesus came to walk with us, heal us, and show us the way.

Lord, be close to those who are grieving, lonely, or struggling today.
Bring comfort to broken hearts, strength to the weary,
and light where there is darkness.

Fill our homes and communities with kindness, compassion, and forgiveness.
Help us to carry the love of Christ beyond today, into our words, our actions, and the way we care for one another.

May we honour You in all we do,
and may the birth of Jesus renew our faith, our hope, and our joy.

We give You all the glory and praise,
now and always.

In Jesus’ precious name, Amen. 🙏🏽
