Depo-Provera (depo contraceptive). There are many women using this medication that need to know the risk.
The contraceptive Depo-Provera has been linked to an increased risk of developing a non-malignant brain tumour, prompting lawsuits in the US and Canada. Now Australian patients are considering a class action.

"Then, she rested.
She retreated.
She reclaimed the energy she had strewn about the universe...
Then, she rested.
She retreated.
She reclaimed the energy she had strewn about the universe.
She accepted the uncertainty of loose ends and the necessity of severing old ties.
She forgave herself and others and promised to begin new.
She took time to breathe, to settle, to dismiss old worries and matters of little consequence to this time
in her life.
She gathered herself and returned to a space of gentle peace without judgment.
The stillness of love dawns in her heart and she is overjoyed to awaken to its presence.

You could be forgiven for thinking this is a healthy breakfast option β¦.with its Bouji matcha π΅ powder and chia seeds.
Sure Chia puddings are a great egg free dairy free protein breakfast optionβ¦.when done right.
Matcha π΅ is a great antioxidant booster and great for focus and concentration.
This recipe really doesnβt need all 3 of the added refined sugarsβ¦even if they are βnaturalβ.
Personally I would use ripe fruits and leave the sugars out of the compote, skip the maple and honey additions. There is enough sweetness in there already!
What do you think? π€

Made myself some of my version of the anti-inflammatory drink βJamuβ. When I can get nice fresh turmeric and ginger I like to have it on hand to take about 50-100ml most mornings.
This is enough for about 10days and contains kiwi,π₯ (optional); ginger;π« turmeric; mint leaves π ;π lemon and water.
Let me know if youβd like the recipe

If you're an employer of women, a leader, a sports team captain or coach, or an educator of girls reaching puberty, take a moment to understand the experience that 10% of women of reproductive age go through with Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain.
Hormone-related pain, periods, and the disruption they cause can significantly affect a woman's ability to enjoy an active, productive life. We're finally seeing the data that shows just how widespread this is.
Healthy, happy women make the world a better place. ππ Even a little understanding of womenβs health can create a big impact. πΏ
Black and Hispanic women are less likely to receive an endometriosis diagnosis, reflecting a possible systemic bias or disparity in health care access.

Anne-Marie has been working in the Natural Health industry for over 22 years, and will bring you researched backed info, infused with years of clinical experience and insights.
Tonight's workshop aims to empower you with wholistic, real, and doable solutions that can be used safely alongside your current treatments AND when applied appropriately can make a positive impact on your life experience with endometriosis and/or pelvic pain.
Many women with endometriosis struggle with bloating and digestive issues. This simple daily habit can make a big difference.
π½οΈ Slow down and chew your food thoroughly! When you eat mindfully, your body has more time to break down food, which can help reduce bloating and ease digestion.
Next time you sit down for a meal, take a deep breath, and savor each bite. Your gut will thank you! πβ¨
If you'd like to learn more about the connections between endometriosis, gut health and diet join me Monday 9th September, at the Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Clinic Northside Health NT for Pelvic Pain Information Session Four - Nutrition for Pelvic Pain & Endometriosis.
"Searching for an easy breakfast that's both nourishing and endo-friendly? Here's a breakfast idea and recipe thatβs gentle on the digestive system, high in fibre, protein, and healthy fats, which help to balance hormones and reduce inflammation.
Quinoa: A gluten-free grain that is high in protein and fiber, helping to keep you full and support stable blood sugar levels, which is important for hormone balance.
Stewed Apples: Apples are rich in soluble fiber (pectin), which is gentle on the digestive system and supports gut health. Stewing them makes them easier to digest.
Cinnamon: This spice has anti-inflammatory properties and can help regulate blood sugar levels, reducing inflammation associated with endometriosis.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup quinoa, rinsed
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any dairy-free milk)
1 cup water
1 apple, peeled, cored, and grated
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional, for sweetness)
A pinch of sea salt
Optional toppings: Chopped walnuts, chia seeds, or a drizzle of almond butter
Instructions:
Cook the Quinoa:
In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed quinoa, almond milk, grated apple and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and cover. Simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the quinoa is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
Combine & Serve:
Once the quinoa is ready, stir in the pinch of sea salt, the cinnamon and maple syrup or honey if desired. Serve the quinoa in a bowl, and sprinkle with optional toppings like chopped walnuts or chia seeds for added nutrition and crunch.
