Meet Immy 🌊
Imogen is a Paediatric Speech Pathologist who grew up on Wiradjuri Country, in Narromine NSW. She is a proud advocate for children and families who live in rural and remote locations, with experience working in Far North Queensland and the Torres Strait Islands.
Imogen is passionate about working alongside First Nations communities and organisations. She has family ties to Mandandanji Country, and is motivated to support the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in her practice.
Imogen enjoys building special therapeutic relationships with each child and family to understand their concerns, needs and goals for their little one. She adopts a client centred approach to therapy, to achieve evidence based outcomes in all areas of communication. Imogen enjoys collaborating with health services, preschools, primary schools, and other health professionals to streamline the child’s therapeutic journey.
Imogen’s clinical interests include speech sounds, early language, AAC, neurodiversity affirming practice, and applying strategies into routines based home practice.
Outside of work, Imogen loves to spend time with family and friends. She loves to travel and adventure outdoors, including CrossFit, snowboarding, or a day at the beach.
