Derby Day 2025. What a day!

We feel privileged to have sponsored Fashions on the Field at Dubbo’s Derby Day on Saturday.

Our very own Ebony brought her fashion flair not only to the judging panel but also by selecting the stunning sunnies that went home with the winners.

It was a fantastic day - the sun was well and truly out and scorching hot. As big advocates for protecting your eyes, it was great to see everyone rocking their sunnies!

Did you know that our very own Amy is a CASA Credentialed Optometrist?

In 2021, Amy travelled to Melbourne to complete training authorised by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and delivered by Optometry Australia, qualifying her to do the vision assessments for pilots required by CASA. These exams are thorough to ensure that all commercial pilots meet strict vision and safety standards, and Amy reports directly to CASA at the completion of the exam.

Amy is proud to be the first optometrist in Dubbo to provide this service. She offers these detailed assessments to both current and new patients, utilising her clinical expertise to support aviation safety through comprehensive eye examinations.
