I wrote a post a little while back about the beautiful pink flannel flower flower essence. These beauties only germinate after bush fires and have been popping up around NSW 🌸🌸🌸 Nature is amazing 🌿💜

MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄 and here's to a new year full of hope and dreams fulfilled! And if this is a difficult time of year for you sending love ♥️ and healing energy.✨
I will be taking time out from my clinic till Feb to hang with my boys, visit family in Canberra and spend a couple of weeks at a magical little camping spot🏕️in Mimosa Rocks National Park on the south coast of NSW.🏖️
I hope you get to spend time with the people you care about do the things that nourish your spirit.

✨Positive affirmations are a powerful way to; change your mindset, boost confidence and help you manifest your dreams. These can be written down, said out loud or repeated during a meditation. You can even write them on post it notes and stick them around the house where they are a constant reminder to you.✨

Grounding for anxiety
Focusing on the breath is a well known technique for helping to reduce stress and anxiety, however if you are prone to panic attacks focusing on the breath could actually make matters worse. Another excellent way to ground yourself if you are feeling anxious is to switch on your senses and take in your surroundings. There are a few different ways you can do this but here is a method called 5,4,3,2,1.
So if you are feeling really anxious or even stressed about something and find yourself totally caught up in your own thoughts, here's something you can try.
5 - Notice 5 things you can see (take in the shapes, colours, textures)
4 - Notice 4 things you can touch (this could be your desk, your phone, a tree)
3 - Notice 3 things you can hear (close or in the distance)
2 - Notice 2 things you can smell
1 - Notice 1 thing you can taste .
It can also really help to actually say aloud what you see, touch ,hear etc. This excercise is also really effective if you are able to get outside and take a walk to do it.

Don't feel guilty about taking time out for you, you need it and you deserve it!

About Me

Hi, I'm Beck and welcome to my page! I am a Naturopath and Reiki practitioner and I'm currently completing my Advanced Certificate in Guiding and Teaching Meditation.

To be honest I do not remember or really know why I wanted to become a naturopath. I had never even seen a naturopath before I started my degree. I do know though that it is what I always wanted to do. Many people I met throughout my studies had been drawn to natural medicine because either they or a family member had suffered some form of chronic health issue. For me this was not the case, it was innate, and I have always known that I was meant to be a healer. I love nature and I love herbs and have always had a firm belief in the healing power of nature. I want to help people and do something meaningful with my life and I have found that it is a real privilege to have people entrust you with their health and most personal life stories.

I have a special interest in understanding how the mind affects the body and I love helping clients with conditions such as anxiety, stress, sleeping disorders, mental health and fatigue. I am a mum to 2 young boys and I particularly enjoy guiding and educating other mums on their wellness journeys. I offer face to face and online consultations so you can benefit from the convenience of having a consult in the comfort of your own home.
