So we have some exciting news! 1 week ago today we took over our local health food shop ❤❤
This has been a dream of mine for a long time, to own a health food store in my local community to help bring nourishing foods to my local community.

With the help of my incredible, supportive husband I am so excited to continue on with what has created for Dunsborough, a heart and community centred business. Tash has made handover a dream and I know the customers will all miss her.

We have been renovating all week (Ado has done an amazing job) and I've been busy ordering lots of new stock, so you can expect to see some changes when you come in next, but the bones of the business will stay the same with Coffee & Eats, Naturopathic consults, the highest quality supplements and of course incredible customer service.

While beautiful hair is made in the salon, HEALTHY hair is an inside job.

We all lose a certain amount of hairs per day depending on the stage of our hairs life cycle, but sometimes an increase in hair loss can be a symptom of something underlying.

Vitamin or mineral depletion, lack of protein, hormonal imbalance or stress can be some of the reasons.

Making some simple dietary and lifestyle changes can make ALL of the difference. That's where I come in.....

Helllllooooo....

It's been a while! But I am still here.
Life has been FULL!!! So this little account has been on the back burner.

I've been working a lot in my other jobs and it's been a full year with other things like:
- dance competitions
- daughter graduating high school
- school art exhibitions
- school awards nights
- sports
- supporting husbands businesses
Etc etc etc. You get it, I'm sure your life is similar.

Anyhow I just wanted to say I'm still here, doing my Nutrition thing in the background. Shout out if you need support. I'll try and share some posts in the coming weeks on how you can support yourself nutritionally through this busy season.

P.S Also something exciting coming soon when I team up with my other day job ❤❤❤

Love a Sunday Roast ❤

- Roast Chook
- Cauliflower Cheese
- Duck Fat Roast Potatoes
- Brussels Sprouts, Broccoli and Beans cooked in butter and garlic
- The BEST gravy filled with veg, stock and pan juices (no thickeners needed!)

AND leftovers for lunch tomorrow 🙌

How do you start your day?

Do you eat breakfast? Or just have a coffee and dash out the door?

Having coffee first thing, on an empty stomach can really mess with our adrenal and hormonal health. I'm not saying drop the coffee....I wouldn't dare 🤣.....but it's ALL about timing.

Having a protein rich breakfast BEFORE your coffee will help to not get those caffeine jitters and really support your body. Think eggs, nitrate free bacon, leftovers, goats cheese and other delicious forms of protein.

Eating protein at breakfast also helps to keep us satiated, and we are much more likely to eat well throughout the rest of the day.

This morning there was only 1 egg left, so I fried up a couple of sad looking mushrooms in some ghee, then made a 1 egg omelette (it was a big egg), and added some goats cheese, rocket and topped with sauerkraut. It took me 5 minutes, and has set me up for the day.
