There’s something special about the women who have walked beside you for years.

The ones who knew you before children, careers, responsibilities and the many roles life asks us to hold.

They’ve seen different versions of you.

They’ve witnessed your joy, your struggles, the seasons where life felt light and the ones where it felt heavy.

And somehow, through all of it, the friendship remains.

Mid-life has a way of reminding us how important these women are.

Not because they fix things.

Because with them, you don’t have to explain yourself.

You can simply arrive as you are.

And when you pause long enough to notice it, there’s often a quiet feeling underneath it all - gratitude for the women who have walked beside you. 💛

International Women’s Day always makes me pause.

Not in a big, loud way.
More quietly.

I think about the many versions of myself that have existed over the years.

The younger woman trying to do everything right.
The one holding everything together for everyone else.
The one learning, slowly, that strength doesn’t always mean pushing through.

And I think about the women around me too.

The daughters growing into themselves.
The friends walking their own complicated seasons.
The mothers and grandmothers whose lives shaped ours in ways we’re still discovering.

There are so many threads that make up a woman’s life.

Some visible.
Some quietly carried.

Today feels like a good moment to honour all of it.

The woman you’ve been.
The woman you’re becoming.
And the women whose lives have touched yours along the way.

It’s okay if you don’t resonate with every mid-life conversation you hear.

It might feel too loud.
Or heavy.
Or not quite like you.

You’re allowed to choose steadiness.

You’re allowed to grow quietly.
To reflect without reacting.
To step into change without explanation.

Mid-life doesn’t need to be dramatic to be deep.

There is strength in calm rooms.

And there is nothing wrong with wanting peace.

There’s a rising intensity in the mid-life conversation right now.

A lot of raw urgency.
Very exposed storytelling.
Big emotions shared in big ways.

And while honesty matters…
not everything needs to be processed loudly.

Sometimes when I scroll, I notice something in my own body.

Activated.
Drained.
Subtly manipulated.

Resentment becomes content.
Frustration is shared in ways that stir more heat than healing.

Mid-life deserves depth.

But it also deserves steadiness.

You don’t have to relive your hardest moments publicly to prove you’re growing.

And you don’t need to be activated to make a change.

Sometimes the most powerful shifts happen in calm rooms.

Depth without dysregulation.

That’s where I choose to stand.

No one really prepared us for this part.

Still raising teenagers.
Still in the trenches of school schedules, moods and late-night conversations.

And at the same time -
supporting parents who are ageing, slowing down, needing more.

For me, that looks like my in-laws living on our property.
Close enough to support.
Close enough to feel the shift daily.

We were told mid-life would bring freedom.

For many women, it brings responsibility from both directions.
And it can feel disorienting.

Not because we don’t love our families.
But because no one taught us how to hold everyone - without abandoning ourselves in the process.

This season isn’t about coping better.
It’s about learning how to stay steady
while being needed on both sides.

And that requires something deeper than resilience.

It requires space.
Permission.
Regulation.

So many women are carrying this quietly.
You are not alone.

25/02/2026

I’ve realised something about myself.

For a long time, I was trying to fit my work into a shape that felt safe.

Healthy Vibes Hunter Valley held so much - retreats, conversations, women coming together.
And I’m grateful for that chapter.

But if I’m honest, it never fully felt like me.

It felt polished.
Professional.
Acceptable.

What feels true now is deeper than that.

I’m not here to build a wellness brand.
I’m here to create grounded spaces for women in mid-life.

Spaces where we can put the armour down.
Where nothing needs fixing.
Where we don’t need to optimise or improve.
Where we can exhale and be honest about this season of life.

So I’m stepping forward under my own name.

Not as a big rebrand.
Not as a reinvention.
Just as alignment.

This feels warmer.
More honest.
More me.

And if you’re here for that - I’m really glad.

There’s a particular kind of tired that sleep doesn’t fix.

It shows up after years of being the reliable one.
The carer.
The organiser.
The woman who holds it all together.

On paper, life looks good.
Children raised.
Responsibilities met.
People supported.

But inside, something feels… off.

Flat.
Disconnected.
Like you’ve been living beside your life rather than inside it.

I know this place.
I’ve lived here.

And here’s what I’ve learned.
This isn’t burnout.
It’s self-abandonment.

Most women were never taught how to choose themselves without guilt.
So we don’t.
We override our needs.
We stay quiet.
We say “it’s fine” when it isn’t.

Putting yourself first feels selfish - until you realise how much of yourself you’ve already given away.

Choosing yourself doesn’t mean walking away from everyone else.
It means finally walking back to you.

And if you don’t do this now, there’s a real risk you’ll keep moving through life half-present, telling yourself you’ll get to it later.

Later isn’t guaranteed.

This part of life isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about listening more honestly.
Letting go of what no longer fits.
And learning how to say no without explaining yourself.

If this landed in your body, not just your head - that’s your signal.

You don’t need permission.
You don’t need another sign.

You need to stop pretending this is enough.

✨ What an honour it is to be invited into a private circle of women to hold space for their journey. ✨

Creating a sacred container for this beautiful group was such a privilege for myself and Tender Wild — together we curated an evening woven with intention, connection and presence.

Collectively we journaled and shared words of gratitude for the gift of friendship, softened into meditation and a sound bath, wandered in nature to gather elements for ceremony and created a release offering — letting go of what no longer serves by placing our written words into the fire. 🔥

These moments remind me of the power of sacred circles — where women feel safe to express, reflect and celebrate each other. 💫

I’m deeply grateful to have facilitated such a meaningful gathering. 🌿

✨ Would you love to gather your closest friends for a private circle — a day of reflection, connection and ritual created just for you? Send me a message and let’s craft something beautiful together. ✨

✨🌕 Full Moon Release Ritual 🌕✨

To honour the first spring full moon, the beautiful women in my Your Sacred Path immersion gathered for a heartfelt release ceremony.

Each woman was invited to honour what she was ready to let go of—old patterns, heavy emotions, limiting beliefs—and write them down on slips of paper. These were then tucked gently into dried banksia flowers, along with orange slices, lavender, and rosemary.

As we placed them into the fire, the flames became a symbol of transformation—burning away what no longer serves us. The most incredible aroma rose from the smoke, a mingling of herbs and citrus, as though the earth itself was receiving our offerings.

It was beautiful, moving and deeply symbolic—a reminder of the power of ritual, community and the cycles of release and renewal. 🌸🔥✨

This is the magic of Your Sacred Path: a space to connect, honour your journey and weave wonder into everyday life. 🌸🔥✨

Would you like to join us for the next circle? Drop a "YES" in the comments or send me a DM 🌙💫
