Meet Nicole. If you’re a local to Echuca Moama you may also know her as Nic, or most lovingly ‘Missy’.
A regular week for Nic can certainly be busy. Two active teenage boys, her own full-time job, sporting commitments and a happy social life. A life being lived!
In 2024, an unexpected bowel cancer diagnosis became the instigator for Nic to research integrative therapies. Could they aide the intense medical treatment that she was suddenly experiencing? Nic discovered hyperbaric oxygen therapy and red light therapy and began to learn how the human body can benefit from these modalities.
There was a significant barrier – and that was location. Regional areas tend to have less access to medical facilities and therapies and this was the case for hyperbaric chambers.
Breathe Lab Co-founder Krystin was also searching for options to improve her own health. Together they decided a change was needed so they could both access oxygen therapy closer to home and reap the benefits.
This wasn’t an easy process, but through a bucket-load of grit and determination, this dynamic duo succeeded and Breathe Lab was born!
The accessibility of the hyperbaric chamber and complementary red light therapy has allowed Nic to not only continue her own healing treatment, but introduce it to her local community.
Each client who books a session has different reasons for doing so. Athletes love it for recovery, and others swear by it for boosting their immune systems, alleviating pain and inflammation, and improving their skin health.
Missy’s personal experience with these therapies has been positive and very much needed in her pursuit of a healthy life.
If this resonates with you, why not give Breathe Lab a try.
